@GoGoSnoGirl: @AmeliaBedelia: @MamaCate: @MrsStar: @lazypanda: @busylizzy111: Thank you everyone!!! I am still in shock, disbelief, nervous and excited all in one!! I'll feel better with a confirmed beta from my dr on Tuesday. I did give in to another test this afternoon with semi-diluted pee and it was darker! So things are going in the right direction!
I cannot thank my ttc sisters enough for ALL the love and support and prayers you have given me. It truly means everything!! I want to send baby dust all over this board!! I'll be keeping my eye out for more bfp's!!!

Okay ladies...sorry to spam you with my bfp pics...I promise it won't be too many more! I went and bought a different test (you know to make sure) along with a wondfo.

11DPO, and temp dropped below the coverline. I've been taking all the herbs and stuff, and my LP seems to be worse. It did get significantly colder here in the last day or so, but it shouldn't make that much of a difference. I am feeling really disappointed.
I was invited to two baby showers this weekend, but both are people I am not at all close to (the kind where you wonder why you are invited at all), so I RSVP'd no to both. Right after I saw my temp plummet, I got an email update on a friend who just had her baby, but that baby is not doing well. The baby was born without a heartbeat, needed to be intubated (now is off the ventilator), but having lots of seizures and brain damage. My emotions are a little messy- feeling so sad for my friend, disappointed to not be pregnant, scared this could happen to us, etc.

@AmeliaBedilia: hugs to you, my friend. It does sound like lots of emotions to deal with. I hope your temp drop today is an outlier.

@nicole112: you can post a bfp every day in my opinion--it is so exciting to see them! Fx for your beta next week!

@AmeliaBedilia: oh no! I will hope for the best for you, but a drop for me that late usually means the end is near. And hugs for all the baby nonsense. I have been feeling emotional this weekend too and thinking about how psychologically draining ttc is, especially when prolonged. Be kind to yourself.

Gosh, not my day. I have a cold, my temp dropped, the only hair tie I had with me snapped (thank god for dry shampoo) and the coffeemaschine exploaded. Can only get better!

So, AF finally arrive today. Longest cycle ever. Needless to say, I was already getting a tiny bit hopeful..*sigh*
nectarine / 2192 posts
@busylizzy111: aww, hugs!
As for me, CD5. Continuing the herbs/making babies plan, but deleting preseed an adding primrose oil. In the making babies book, they discussed luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome. It is rare, but happens more with my "type." Basically, your egg does not rupture , but your progesterone level goes up and it looks like you ovulated. There are a few treatments, and I am going to try a new herb, Zao jiao ci, which is supposedly "miraculous" for getting follicles to rupture.
I am trying to look at the upsides. If I get pregnant in the next few months, almost all my medical bills will be in the same calendar year, which makes it much cheaper. Also, I will be eligible for FMLA, so I will have the option of expanding maternity leave from 6 weeks to 12 (though unpaid). I also feel a little less stressed. Trying to focus on the positive.

@nicole112: so exciting to know you are official! Still sending lots of baby dust your way!
@busylizzy111: sorry to hear about AF! So hard when you start to get your hopes up. Hoping this cycle has better results for you!
@AmeliaBedilia: it sounds like you are doing a great job focusing on the positive and I think maximizing your leave options is huge! Even if is not paid, 12 weeks went so fast and I could not have imagined going back to work sooner with LO. I had a work friend who was complaining about not getting pregnant due to work stress and resigned but got KU that month, so now she is at a new job and not eligible for FMLA. Not sure what they are going to do...so good plan to try to avoid that!

As for me, my temp dropped slightly yesterday on 13dpo so I was pretty sure I was out, enough so that I had a beer at happy hour last night. I was making plans to call my OB Monday to schedule a hsg and everything. But this morning my temp was back up so I caved and tested:
I am in shock but so happy! Please send prayers and good vibes as we are right at a year since the time of my loss and I am petrified of repeating that. But mostly just thankful.

@busylizzy111: I'm sorry about AF love. Go treat yourself to something real good!!
@AmeliaBedilia: Good luck! I think the weeks difference in the maternity leave will surely make a difference! Sounds like you have a good plan! Can't wait to see you bfp on here!!
@MamaCate: OMG YAY!!! Congrats!! That's a postive!! Praying for a sticky bean!
I am doing well. Beta numbers are rising "beautifully" as per my Dr. My progesterone decided to decrease so I need to start supplements. I'll do whatever!! My first sono is scheduled for Thursday...my birthday!
Can't wait to see more bfp's on here!! Rooting for you ladies!!!!!

Thanks everybody. We drank a bottle of sparkling wine because we figured that I can't drink it if we do HAVE something to celebrate (hopefully soon...) - weirdos

@MamaCate: SO HAPPY for you!
I started evening primrose oil two days ago, and I think my CM is improved. It's only CD7 and having a little, so I am hopeful that this will be better. I never have great CM, so I wonder if that is part of the problem. I am going to skip the preseed this cycle, and hopefully between evening primrose oil and mucinex (and the massive water and green tea I consume), that will work. I am also trying zao jiao ci to help just in case I do have LUFS. I have heard that it helps with a "waxy coating of the follicles in PCOS" as well.
This week's other adventures include bidding on land and a house. We have always wanted a farm, and this is an auction of land and an old house. It is in a phenomenal location for us, but it will be expensive. I am so nervous. Please say a prayer for us! I have heard so many stories about people who get pregnant after buying a house or something similar, and our pattern is that we have lots of stuff all happen at once. So excited and terrified at the same time!

@busylizzy111: @AmeliaBedilia: thanks ladies! It has meant so much to have the support from you and everyone on this board and I am still pulling for you.
AmeliaBedilia's post about CM reminded me to list what (if anything) I did different this month:
-I have lost 20 lbs since July so I have to think that helped
-took B6 daily after AF was over to increase CM per TCOYF (I think this helped)
-didn't work out the last two weeks due to a cold (inadvertent timing)
-charting
I honestly think our case came down to luck and timing but it was always helpful for me to see what has happened for others on their BFP cycle.
Sending baby dust to everyone!

@nicole112: @MamaCate: Congratulations to you both!!! So much has happened since I've last been on. It's hard to get on HB as much as I'd like now that I'm subbing. The site is blocked at a lot of schools, and I'm pretty much busy the whole time.
A little update, 1 DPO right now. We decided not to do a third IUI because it's $400 every time. We are switching insurance in January that will cover everything infertility related. I'm trying not to get my hopes about this cycle, but we had the best timing we've ever had in our history off TTC (since BDing is hard for us every day). We hit O-4, O-3, O-1, O, and O+1! If anything, at least we didn't miss out on our shot this month without doing the IUI.
@AmeliaBedilia: Still praying for you all the time, even though I'm not on here much.
nectarine / 2192 posts
@sarahnicole218: So hoping that the better BD timing works for you!
CD12, with expected O CD15. I'm doing lots of herbs, and started evening primrose oil, and CM is improved. Fingers crossed.
In non-TTC news...we got the farm! We are going to figure out when our HUGE renovation starts. I don't know how this will all play out with renovating, hopefully being pregnant, moving, etc. but we will make it work if it happens. The one downside is that the "when are you going to have kids?" questions have increased. Apparently, DINKs aren't allowed to buy farms.

@sarahnicole218: awesome BDing! Fx that does the trick for you & you won't even need your new & improved insurance coverage!
@AmeliaBedilia: so exciting you got your farm! Why did I read your news in the voice of the little girl on the movie "We bought a zoo"?! Hope your herbs, etc help out this month. Sounds like big things are coming your way, lady!

@sarahnicole218: FX for you! Were just looking at IUIs, and they'll be like 2K per cycle. Why is all of This stuff so expensive?!

@sarahnicole218: Thank you!!! Your timing looks amazing! Fx this is your month!!!
@AmeliaBedilia: Fx for you girl!! Congrats on the farm!!! Hoping things are falling into place so that baby feels more ready to come!!
@Crystal: GL! My IUI was a lot too. It's crazy how expensive all this fertility stuff is!!
