So, I've posted about selling our house so much on HB (mostly gold). To sum it up, it was a 4 month long process. We went under contract and recieved an estimated proceeds amount from our terrible agent. We made an offer on a new house but found out that the estimated proceeds were way off and had to take a "gift" from my parents or lose our new house (dream home, by the way).

Fast forward to last night, all the papers are SIGNED! Our buyers close tomorrow!! We look over the final HUD (that listed our total proceeds) all is good and we are so excited. Fast forward again to this afternoon, the escrow agent tells us that we will not get all of our proceeds from the sale of our home. A chunk of it is taxes, that we have paid, that are sitting in escrow that the county is suppose to post possibily tomorrow or up until May 5th! But we need all of our proceeds to buy our new house!!!

So, now we are sitting in our old house, wondering if the taxes will post tomorrow and if they don't, we have to find a new house

Selling and buying a house has been such an exhausting and stressful process! We need some positive thoughts and prayers that a some miracle happens so we can buy our new house. Everything is signed for the new house so it stinks that a problem can arise out of nowhere. It's also possible that my parents gift funds won't be refunded if we don't get the house. Ahh.
