I read that Fish Oil can really help with constipation which my 2.5 yr old has - I found some gummies but they have an awful fish after taste and neither of my kids will eat them.
Does anyone here give their kids an Omega that doesn't taste fishy?

I don't give my LO an Omega yet, but I used to work in a medical office and these are the ones we sold - http://www.amazon.com/Integrative-Therapeutics-Natural-Supplement-Vitamin/dp/B0017K8VS0

Did you try the Nature Made gummies? I take them myself and really like them.

@tlcbaby: Thanks but the reviews say it does have a fishy taste! =(
@Ash: And there is NO fishy taste after you swallow?
@irishmama: Do you find there is a fishy taste?
For myself I use the sundown and they are fine until I swallow - then its like ugh! I have to hold my nose closed while I eat them so I cant taste the fish - haha

I didn't find that there was a fishy taste with the Nature Made ones. I think they make them in different flavors, but I always get the mango/papaya ones. I also take them with my dinner, which I think helps keep them from having a fish taste.

@Mamaof2: no fishy taste at all! There's a strawberry one for adults that I take and the children's ones are advertised to be without the fishy after taste as well.

I give my 2yrs old the flintstones healthy brain support omega 3 dha. I bought it at Walgreens for $15-18 (don't remember the exact price). It's a one a day chewable gummy and there's 80 gummies in a bottle. It tastes pretty good (Tastes like orange and it comes in one flavor) and my LO asks for it every morning.

You can try a vegetarian omega supplement, not made from fish, no fishy taste! My friends put Udo's or Spectrum DHA oil into their kids' milk or smoothies.

I had to take omega/fish oil before my Lasik surgery and this was the best - tastes like lemon custard...just a nice sweet lemon taste. I got it at Costco.

ETA: I kept it in the fridge bc that made it easier to take

My oldest takes the L'il Critters Omega-3 gummy fish - he's got a flair for the drama and he's never complained about the taste.
