DH and I were always in the 2 kids boat. Now that we have 2 DDs, we're on the fence as to whether or not to have a 3rd - a place I never expected to be in!

Background: DD1 just turned 4, DD2 is 7.5 months. They're 3.5 years apart in age. It took 3 IUIs for DD#1 after 2ish years TTC, had a loss after 4ish months TTC (I think that's how long it took), then pregnant without RE for DD#2 (so 3rd pregnancy). Both pregnancies were manageable - dare I say, even good/easy? With DD1 I had bad carpal tunnel and summer weather swelling. With DD2 just back aches really. She also came in a hurry.

DH will be 40 this year, I'll be 36. We just bought our forever home with 4 bedrooms. Currently DD1 and 2 have their own rooms but could easily share. Or have their own if we converted the guest room into a kids room. DH works out of the house, I work at home slash out of the house (as in I have a remote job). Daycare is .5 miles away. DD1 will be heading to kindergarten in one year (2020). We already feel like we need a bigger car for the two of them. Neither family is nearby - we're in NY, my in-laws are in the mid-west and my parents split between summers in New England and winters out west (where my sister is). So we might be looking at one plane trip for all of us a year rotating the locations? We have a summer home we drive to frequently. We also love to travel and would like to get back to that one day (thinking of costs for plane tickets, etc.). And student loans set to be paid off in 2022 or 2023.

I'm just so torn. We're getting rid of maternity clothes, baby items, etc. and I asked DH if we were definitely done. I expected him to be like yup this is it and he said he was on the fence as well. I suggested waiting until DD2 is one (in December) and he was like what's now versus four months from now lol. So I don't know... Do we just throw caution to the wind and let whatever happens happen? AF isn't even back yet because I'm EBF... GAH!! I know I'm not the only one who has been in this position...
