My son was in 18-24 months when he was about 20 months old, when he turned 2 he was wearing at least 3T in tops but could still wear a lot of his 18-24 month bottoms. By the end of the winter he was solidly in 2T pants.

For the summer, I bought him mostly 3T tops and he was able to use 2T bottoms. Now, we're at 4T in tops and 3T in bottoms.

He's about 75% for height and 66% for weight.

my LO is 18 m and fits into both 18m clothing and 12m. Some 12m pants are too short and the 12m sleepers are tight but onesies and dresses still fit fine in both sizes

M. just hit a growth spurt and pretty much skipped 18-24 month clothes. We're doing 2T now, which is hard because her sister hasn't outgrown all the 2T's yet!

DS, who has pretty much always been in the 20th percentile for height and weight, was in 12-18 months until he was 2 and 24-2T for a year and a half. He has always been year behind in sizes - they just don't fit his waist really. He is 4.5 and wearing mostly all 4T clothing now though.

C has definitely slowed down in growth. She hasn't gained any weight in 3 months, although she has gotten taller. She's been in 24m for about 3 months now and we've bought her some 2T fall/winter stuff that will be baggy this year but hopefully fit next year too.

@Mrs. Jacks: I have a friend whose boys are 2 years apart, and for a while the oldest was wearing the youngest's hand-me-downs! Ellie usually takes a year or so, but seems to size out of shirts the fastest. Lorelei is in 2T already. Bummer because with her being smaller than Ellie was at that age I bought mostly `18-24 month bottoms, and we'll need to get more.

P was in 18-24m on most things since last winter. I started her in 2T in September, but am already noticing that things are getting short. So, I see a move to 3T in her future (at least for shirts and leggings). Girl needs to slow down on the growing!
