The last two cycles, were delayed/anovulatory and the the ovulation pains were on my left. On these cycles, my temp rose very slowly, was not sustained, luteal phase estimated around 9 days.
This cycle, my ovulation pains were on the right. And I ovulated at a reasonable date CD 18. My temp rose normally and I'm expecting my luteal phase to be normal as well.
Is this possible? To have one ovary be weak or slow which affects BBT and hormones and have the other side to be normal? At my ultrasound, the technician could not see my left ovary. The only thing I did different this cycles was eating a ton of edamame and drinking soymilk during AF, then increasing intake of bananas (magnesium), nuts (b6 and b12) as well as vitamin C (fruits and OJ) near ovulation time to support progesterone.
Is this situation valid? Does anyone else experience this? Or is this all a coincidence?
