Does anyone know, is getting paid to take online surveys real or a scam? I just signed up with a company (ipsos I say) because I figured it would be something to do while nursing but now I’m wondering if I’m just going to start getting a ton of spam phone calls for the rest of my life.

I don't know anything about ipsos I say, but a lot of researchers in my field use Mechanical Turk for surveys. It's through Amazon so I'd be more trusting of that than something I'd never heard of.

I used to do surveys through Swagbucks to earn points to then redeem giftcards...

@graceandjoy: yeah that’s the same set up as the one I signed up for. Do you think you get spammed more as a result? I guess it doesn’t matter, I already signed up so my info is out there.

@LadyDi: I don't THINK so? I do get decent amount of spam but I just clear out my gmail spam folder so it doesn't really bother me
