Ever since we took a family trip to Japan last year, my DH and I talked about living there for a few years if there was a position available in his company.

This week, my DH saw a job opportunity in his company for a position in Tokyo. I was excited, but my DH is now on the fence since it'll be a huge transition. I understand that it's a huge step for us to leave our home here, and take our 2 kids to a new country. My boys are 2 and 5 years old, so I thought it'd be perfect since they're still so young. I'm more optimistic and ready for adventure, but my DH is hesitant since it's a new place with a new language for him and the kids. Plus, he wonders if we'll be truly be happy since we'll have to make new friends, and also he won't be able to drive everyday (he loves to drive his car to work).

So my question is....would you take this opportunity? He has a good position here, so it's not like we HAVE to move. We're happy here, but just thought it'd be a good opportunity. Plus, it'll be nice to finally have my extended family close by for once. Anyone else moved abroad with kids? I know Mr. & Mrs. Bee have.
