@AprilFool: How long will you be around for? There's Pretend City, Discovery Science Center, Knott's Berry Farm, Adventure City... and the newly opened Anaheim Packing District - which is the newest hipster venue in Anaheim. It's an indoor market of sorts filled with lots of eateries, coffee, beer, and dessert places.

@AprilFool: I also wanted to add that you can always head over to South Coast Plaza mall in Costa Mesa if you want to stay indoors. You can ride the carousel ($1 a ride) and then hangout at the Lego store and Disney store that's right next door. The lego store lays out a ton of legos they let the kids play with, and the disney store has a place in the back where your kids can color and watch movies. You can also get your shopping in - there's a baby gap right by the carousel, and they now have zara kids inside the zara store right upstairs.
There's also a huge FREE splash pad in Westminster - http://www.yelp.com/biz/sigler-park-splash-pad-westminster

@Mrs. High Heels: We will be there for 6 days and will have a car so we can go wherever. I am going to google all those things you mentioned! The Packing District sounds like my kind of thing. We will definitely need to visit that mall! Thanks!

@AprilFool: Oohh have fun!! Will you be checking out California Adventure too? I think California Adventure is awesome for younger kids because everything is clustered closer together, and it's less crowded. Bugs Land and Cars Land are great for toddlers. Of course you can always hangout at Downtown Disney to eat, walk, and shop, since it's connected to Disneyland (but outside the gates)!
And since you're here for 6 days, the beach isn't too far away - we have beautiful beaches around here - Laguna Beach, Corona Del Mar, Newport Beach!...

Have you already booked your hotel? My coworker's kids love Disney and highly recommends the Howard Johnson because they have their own mini water-park on-site for cool down breaks during the day, its close to the park, and they run shuttles to Disney for like $1.50.
DH and I personally prefer the Sheraton Garden Grove, which is further away from Disney, but clean, quiet, low-cost, near the 22 freeway away from Disney traffic, and across the street from Target for quick shopping. But there's nothing really about the hotel that's fun for kiddos.
If you cruise down to Buena Park a few minutes away, there's Knott's Berry Farm (another smaller theme park), Medieval Times if you guys want to do a jousting dinner tournament thing, and Angels Stadium is right around the corner if you want to catch a baseball game.

@Mrs. High Heels: We will be doing DCA. I want to do everything! Haha Downtown Disney sounds interesting! If we only went to one of those beaches which one should we choose?
@gingerbebe: We are staying in a kids suites at Hojos! So good to know it comes recommended.

@AprilFool: In newport beach there is the "fun zone" on the water where there is a carousal and some other arcade type things for kids and there is a ferry that you can drive your car on or walk onto that takes you across the way to balboa where you can walk around and have balboa ice-cream bars, have a candy shop ect. If you just want a fun park, I love Irvine park. It is the oldest park in OC and its really pretty with a lake and you can take a train ride around the park, they have pony and horse riding, boats you can rent on the lake, fun bikes you can rent and a little zoo.
