DH and I watched it in several days. Everyone kept mentioning this show and I thought it looked stupid, but finally gave it a try, and it was instant addiction!

@Adira: The main character is SO different in the book. You might like her alot more in the book
I agree, the last episode was pretty bad and I feel like not part of her character.

I love the show, and though I was shocked by the last episode of the season, I don't think it was bad or unrealistic at all! I can't wait to see how the next season pans out!

We really liked it. It was funny, not predictable, and sometimes heartwarming. The sociology major in me also appreciated that it's shedding some light on the issues folks face when trying to re-enter society as well as highlighting how class ties into imprisonment.
