I’m thinking about getting one (or two) for my 5 and 7 year olds for a Christmas. Anyone have one and have feedback? Also they both have Kids Kindles so I was thinking of getting 2 bases.

My kids love the one we have ! The numbers and tangrams are their favourites. They also love the princess and incredible art packs.

Ours is a hit! We have the genius kit and the coding one, and a 3 and 5 year old. The genius kit gets a little tedious after a while, there are a limited number of adventures/things you’re asked to draw. The coding one is popular with the 5 year old. This year I think we’ll get the younger kit for the little guy (so we have a second base) and I’m debating Hot Wheels or Pizza Store for the elder.

I want to get the Little Genius kit for my 3.5 y/o DD for Christmas. I’m in Canada and so far the “best deals” I can find are $119.95 (and then 25% off). Any chance there might be Black Friday deals on Osmo kits?

@MLE81: they just this weekend had 30% off on the regular Genius starter kit, what I do is add it to my Amazon wishlist and then I get notifications on my phone that there’s a deal for that product via the Amazon app. Also you can sign up for the Osmo emails from their own site, they’ve been having sales randomly too!

@MLE81: If you have the Plum Plus card at Chapters, I got it last week with a 25% off sale and the the additional 10% with the card.

Uggh my 5 year old really want the princess one! I'm totally going back and forth because
1) I like that it doesn't take up space vs some of the other toy she asks for
2) Even though it's "educational", I'm not 100% sold that she gets more tablet time this way

I just got 25 percent off the little genius kit using the target promo code!

Does anyone use this with an older ipad? I think my son would enjoy an osmo kit but the ipad he uses is pretty old (2nd generation I think) and I am afraid it won't be able to handle it.

@LadyDi: I’m not sure of the generation but we’re using it on a 6 year old iPad mini, so basically a stone tablet in technology years.
