I'm curious how many ounces of milk your 2+ year old drinks per day. My girls are 2.5 and just about 4 and up until about 2 months ago they wouldn't drink milk at all. My oldest is now starting to ask for it, which is great! I'm just looking for averages and what type of milk your kids drink.

WCM. Probably 16-18 ounces a day. He has a cup at breakfast, lunch and before bed.

My son is 2.5 and drinks none, that know of. He might drink it at daycare but he doesn't at home.

My DS was a total milk (cows) junkie. He drank easily 18 oz a day @ 2 years old. He's turning 3, and really only has 1 maybe 2 small cups a day.

Both my kids are like yours, so zero. They don't even really drink milk alternatives. If they suddenly decided to take to it, I'd likely limit them to about 8oz a day each.

When DS is in daycare he has maybe 10-12oz a day. When he's home with us all day he does like 16-20oz. He's 23 months. Whole organic cows milk.

DS is 3 and only drinks milk and water (by his own choice, I promise) and homie drinks about 3 gallons of milk a week. *covers eyes*

@Bao: My almost 3 year old drinks maybe 6 ounces a day. Always a little sippy before bed with probably like 2 ounces in it, and she'll usually have some milk with breakfast. Other than that, just water all day. She eats a ton of yogurt and cheese and takes a multivitamin so I feel like she's covered on calcium.

Gosh, I don't even keep track anymore at 2.5. He gets some at meals and whenever he asks for it.

I typically only give him one 8-10 ish ounce cup a day. We mostly drink water in our house but when we have juice he's allowed one cup a day too.

Probably 0-6 ounces a day. He is given the choice of milk or water and he usually picks water. I realized we were out of milk on Sunday (whoops) and didn't have time to go to the store - I picked it up this afternoon, but in the meantime he's been happily drinking water and hasn't asked for any milk.

DD (3) drinks milk at breakfast and lunch at daycare. I'd guess 4 oz at each meal - perhaps a little more?
We offer milk or water at dinner and allow her to choose. I'd say she chooses water 5 days out of 7.
Water and Milk are her only real options - juice is a huge treat in our house.

DD is 3.5 and loves milk. She drinks 2-3 glasses a day. I don't measure anymore but it's probably around 6 ounces per glass.

Both of my kids drink probably 4 oz a week! They just don't want it

My son is 3 and a bit and asks for either milk or water. He drinks whole cows milk and drinks maybe 4oz/day? I never really keep track.
