Going to a haunted house
Are there any indoor go kart tracks around you? DH is always talking about wanting to go to the one by us.
I like to check groupon for fun activity deals too... I always find things I never think of or didn't know existed in the area.

Every couple of years DH and I like to go to Color Me Mine or another similar pottery-painting place... we have some fun holidays platters we pull out every year from those trips!
DH is very creative and when we were dating he came up with some great stuff... a night of stargazing with an astronomy club at a university near us, a trip to a local ping pong club (these exist!!), theme nights where we cook a brand-new cuisine, snow tubing in the winter, seeing fun cover bands at bars, ice skating/roller skating/bowling, Medieval Times... ohh he used to take me to the pet store to visit puppies too!
Geez, we were exciting back then!

DH and I had a ball at Dave and Busters. I am not a video game gal, but I love drinking a beer and shooting dinosaurs (Jurassic Park game).

Oh yea, DH and I have totally done the BYOB painting classes too and both really enjoyed it. I would like to do a cooking class too.

I've been wanting to take a cooking class together, but they are so expensive!
Another expensive thing I'd like to do is go on a hot air balloon ride.

I second Dave and Busters, we love it. We also do bowling, go to a local playhouse, pottery painting, cooking class, we like to do activites that we can compete against each other...love a good competition

Our library offers passes to various local museums and such. They can be a fun option. We also like bowling, ping pong, cooking classes and wine tastings.
I saw a fun idea for a double date that you could probably adjust for just the two of you too. They picked the four places in their area known for the best burgers and went to each one, split a burger four ways and then went to the next place.

@Cole: The burger idea sounds like so much fun! I'm all up for double dates too!

Groupon is a really good source for ideas - kayaking, local food tours, cooking classes. I just check out what they're offering and plan based off of that. Good luck!
