Besides the expensive fertility monitor, what ovulation tests do you recommend? Digital? Smiley faces?

I like Wondfos. They are cheap and have always been accurate for me.

Hey there- I still have your CBFM! Would you like me to send it back? If not I was just planning to pass it along to someone else on here

I've only used Wondfos or some other cheapy brand like that from Amazon.

I like the clearblue digital ovulation tests. Not the advanced ones with the blinking smiley that turns into a solid smiley the closer you get to your LH surge, just the regular ones with only the solid smiley.
I use wondfos as well sometimes, but feel like I need to test multiple times a day to catch my surge and it stresses me out. I think the digital ones are less stressful.

I was happiest with Wondfo's or Babi tests (both off amazon in bulk) to test until I was pretty sure they were positive, then I'd use clearblue digitals (not the advanced) to confirm with a smiley face. That way a one month supply of the expensive ones would last a few months.

I've always just used the Walgreens or Cvs version of the wondfo OPK strips. I think the pack comes with 20? They've been easy enough for me!

None. They made me absolutely bonkers and stressed and took the joy out of TTC. I have diminished ovarian reserve also but the month I skipped OPKs after 13 cycles I finally got pregnant !

@Anya: Hi honey.. if you haven't already mailed it, please don't. I think I'm going to stick with the cheaper tests and have you give that to someone else. Thank you!! XOXO

@CatchAFallingStar: I used the first response brand one and after months of trying with the cheapies, conceived my son. To be fair I don't know that it had anything to do with it but it did give a much more clear positive a little later than the "is this positive??" cheapies. Like the last cheapies from the day the first response was positive was still positive but it looked no more so than the day or so before. Like I said I don't think it really made much difference anyway but I do think they work better, haha.

I've been happy with cheapy ClinicalGuard strips from Amazon. You can get 50 for $11.50.

I have always just used Wondfos. My RE said they're all equally unreliable! So I did not bother getting a pricier one.

Wondfos all the way! I have used the digital but they are so expensive!

How do you all use them? I've been trying to research, but some places say test twice a day, some say test once in the afternoon. Any help is appreciated! Last time, I just temped and tracked my symptoms, but my cycle is all weird now and I want to use the OPKs to know for sure that I'm ovulating. Thanks!

@Bernieboo: I had cheapy strips from amazon or eBay so I had tons. I used them at least twice a day. One with smu and then one in the early afternoon. Sometimes I would do one early evening as well to try and find out what was going on.
