Best age to wean from paci with no tears or less tears. When does need to suck for comfort reduces.

We weaned LO around 18 months. We just cut the nipple part off and gave it back to her and she was over it in a day or two.

We weaned both my kids at 18 months too., but the pacifier was only allowed in the crib at that point. We just told them they were gone and just for babies. Maybe a bit more tears for a few days, but not a big deal.

Thanks..i guess i will have to wait a year as my lo is 5 months and have to do reinsertion services until she figures how to do it on her own.
