This morning I had an HSG. The procedure was way less horrible than I was expecting from reading stories online. I felt no pain from the catheter and only what I describe as bad period cramps near the end and for a short time after the procedure was done. 20 minutes after it was over I felt completely fine so I ate some lunch and went back to work.

Well starting around 3 hours after the procedure the cramps started coming back and slowly got worse and worse. Now I am bent over at my desk, barely able to write this. Moving around is a real struggle and every time I cough the pain flares up. It is way worse than it was during/directly after the procedure.

Is this a regular side effect of an HSG? Should I be concerned?
