Anyone else have a mildly painful letdown? Mine has always been a strong sensation/borderline painful! I think it's pretty forceful.

Yep! It's so odd to me because I didn't feel a thing when I breastfed DS but I do now that this is my second time breastfeeding. It's almost like a stinging feeling.

To me the sensation wasn't as painful as time went on. Maybe I just got used to it.

Yes! I also thought it was just me. It's weird because it didn't always seem painful--but that's when I was having major nipple pain and now that I'm not having that pain, the letdown is a little painful.

Mine has gotten more painful as time has gone on - before it was just more of a tingling!

Mine has gotten a bit stronger from pumping both sides. When I nurse on one side I feel it on the other.

Yup, mine was semi painful but got better over time.

I would call it really uncomfortable, borderline painful

Mine was painful/forceful for several months before it got better. I would say maybe 4 or 5 months!

Mine has become more painful overtime too. I actually didn't feel my letdown at first. Now it's a really sharp pain/throbbing sensation through my breast. Although, if I'm feeding, I usually don't feel it on the one LO is nursing on.
