We want to paint a wall of LO's playroom with chalkboard paint, but we haven't agreed on a color to paint the other three walls. What colors do you think would look nice against the chalkboard paint?

I think any color, really! A contrasting color would really stand out. But you could do something like a slate-blue that would look nice, too. Our study was this color before we repainted it as a nursery.

@sorrycharlie: very nice shade of blue.... Although I do think the room may be too dark? Maybe a few shades lighter?
What about a shade of yellow?

i think any shade - depends on how big of a space you are painting the chalkboard paint on! We just put a chalkboard wall off the kitchen yesterday! it is against our cream walls & looks great!

Is it black chalkboard paint? What color is the bedding and whatnot?

if its black chalkboard paint then i think any color would go. I like light colors for walls like beige, or light aqua

There will be no bedding, it will be a playroom. So there's not much to go off of...
