I guess this would fall under craft? I don't know. ANyways I have several of those hard Samsonite suitcases. I want to paint one with dots. Anyone have any idea what kind of paint one would use?

I would go with a fabric or multi-surface craft paint.

Spray paint + a stencil maybe? Although I might be worried about the surface being too slick for spray paint.

@anonysquire: I would think that might result in an uneven paint job? I don't know though... I'm not that crafty with paint!
I've seen some people use spray paint for exterior home projects where the surfaces might be slick, so that is why I thought of it.

I'd think that an 'outdoor' paint might work - one that won't wear off when it gets banged around. -

You could use a really fine grit sandpaper (like, above 1000), might not make it too uneven! Good luck

I was going to suggest chalk paint because apparently it sticks to everything. There is also a spray paint designed for plastic that might work.
