Which are your favourite? Once I finish this box of Huggies, I'm going back to Pampers. My son is 5 months and 16 pounds, but I think he is outgrowing size 3's...

I use Baby Dry and Cruisers. Just whatever is available on sale but I always use Pampers. Love them.

I voted for Swaddlers because he's only 5 months. The Swaddlers are nice and soft for a little one.
My LO is 19 months and still in size 4, but we switched to Cruisers once she was walking (13 months or so).

At 5 months I would stick with Swaddlers. We are still in them at 13 months and have never had an issue!

i couldn't find size 4 swaddlers when LO started wearing size 4, so we have only tried cruisers and baby dry. i like the cruisers a little better, they seem a little softer to me, but that could all be in my head. LO certainly didn't express a preference.

We used both Swaddlers and Cruisers, and we buy them at Sam's Club, so they decide for us based on what they carry. I hate, HATE Baby Dry.

I would go with swaddlers for a 5 month old. We didn't switch to size 4 until recently (he's 12 months and 21.5 lbs) but we went with Cruisers since he's walking.

Whichever is on sale when I need them. Swaddlers weren't available in Canada when we switched. I haven't noticed much difference between cruisers and baby dry.

I asked the same question and got swaddlers as the answer. But my friend also gave me some cruisers and for my little crawler, the cruisers have a much better fit. Pre-crawling, swaddlers are great, afterwards I would switch to cruisers. (I don't know what baby dry are.)

Thanks ladies. Do you think they all hold the same amount of pee?? My son is a really heavy wetter, I've been using Huggies overnights at night and I still have to change them before he's up for the day.

My kiddo is 15 pounds and still in size 2s. Is your son in 3s (and about to be in 4s) mostly because of the heavy wetting? (I'm wondering if I need to size up soon!)

We use to use cruisers soft like swaddled but cheaper and you get a little more. Dd started to get an allergic reaction to the diapers with gel so we switched her to target up and up

We use baby dry's (size 4) at night and Target's brand during the day.

LO is almost 8 months, 20lbs and still in swaddlers size 3. At night we do overnights and if he doesn't nurse overnight or only a little, he's fine. He only pees out when he has a nursing marathon overnight like when he's sick. 3s don't even start until 16lbs right? So I can't imagine he'd need 4s! I think rather than go up a size, you need to find a diaper that fits him better.

I can't imagine you need size 4! R is almost 17lbs and we just started using size 3. We were using Pamper Swaddlers but I think they were making her itch down there. We do use pampers overnight and they work great!

DS is almost 21 lbs and we're still in size 3's during the day. We switch between the swaddlers and target brand We use the pampers overnight in size 4 overnight.

Dd is 10 months/18.5ish lbs and we use swaddlers during the day and baby dry at night. I bought one pack of cruisers when she started crawling but didn't love them ... We might try again now that she's starting to walk though!
@shinymama: why do you hate baby dry?

@QBbride: The Baby Dry holds more pee, that's why we use that one at night. He started waking up with wet PJs if I left him in the Swaddlers overnight.

@rrachael: They just felt rougher {if that makes any sense} and he leaked ALL the time in them. We had a giant box and my husband - the cheapest man alive - even suggested throwing them away!

At 5 months I would stick to swaddlers, but in my case by the time my LO was in size 4 she was much older and was mobile and so I preferred cruisers because they have the stretchy back which is better for mobile babies

I felt cruisers held more pee than baby dry. we always had leaks and sometimes DD's clothes would be damp with baby dry.
She did have the occasional leak with cruisers (she is a tummy sleeper) and we just went a size up and it worked for us.

Hmm, maybe I don't need to go up in size?! Any other suggestions then??
He poops up the back every time he poops. He has a long torso so the absorbent part of the diaper is below the top of his bum crack. I switched from Pampers to Huggies because of the elastic back, but it hasn't helped since the elastic back is sort of below his bum (like a plumbers crack)!

No great suggestions from me. When blowouts happen frequently, though, I have learned it is usually time to go up a size. It is worth a try! Maybe just get a small pack, or take a few from a friend to try and see what you think?

We use Baby Dry because they're the cheapest normally. I just go by price per diaper. The newest batches have a strong baby powder smell to them but they still work great.

I use BabyDry on my son who is a heavy wetter and have no problems. I found that with swaddlers or cruisers his pants would often feel damp. He's 14m but we've been using babydry since he was out of the newborn size. We do use Huggies Overnights for nightime though.

my kid is 23 months, 27 pounds and she's in size 4's. We still use swaddlers because they're softer than cruisers.
