I've mentioned it before on HB, but I'm interested in trying out cloth-diapering to see if it will be an option for us, especially while we're at home and overnight.
Does anyone else here CD "part-time" and if so I have a few questions:
1) How many CDs do you use approx. per day?
2) Do you wash them every day/every other day and how many in a load?
3) Is there enough for a load by itself or do you wash them with other baby clothes?
My general thinking is I'd probably go through maybe 3-4 CDs a day part-time, but that seems like a total waste to run the washing machine? Can someone help explain CD part-time logistics? Is it not worth it to do it only PT?
if we did it when he was a newborn it would probably be around ten to twelve diapers a day. You have to change them more when they pee since they don't hold asuch as disposables. But ever 2-3 hours seems like what we do. Someres we even have to stretch 4-5 if he is napping or something. Then we have a higher chance of leaks and I hate leaving him sit in a diaper that long but sometimes it happens.
