I ate a ton of peanut butter during pregnancy. (More than ever before in my prepreg life). Is it true that DS might have a higher chance of a peanut allergy?

I don't think that's legit. I'm eating pb like there is no tomorrow because it is quick and healthy protein.

Well I don't know if it's true, but I ate a TON of peanut butter when pregnant (a huge craving of mine) and I now have a peanut allergy ridden child Neither side of our family have any allergies, she's the first.

I ate so much peanut butter and LO definitely does not have a peanut allergy. I had peanut butter toast every night before bed as a snack and sometimes had it in the morning or at lunch too. And may have had some Reese's cups here and there.

I don't think that's true but I also heard the same of strawberries. I lived on PBJ sandwiches as my go to snack while I was pregnant so hope it's not true!

I was addicted to peanut butter and so far LO hasn't had a bad reaction. She's 11 months old and has tried it a handful of times (:

Peanut butter sandwiches were pretty much the only thing I COULD reliably eat when I was pregnant, so I sure hope not!
He's eaten it several times with no problems so far, so I'm hopeful...

No personal experience yet, but a friend of ours ate tons of peanut butter and her son doesn't have an allergy to it. He's 3.

I also ate a ton and DS is fine. Pecan butter does give him a diaper rash though.

I have eaten a lot of peanut butter with every pregnancy, and while nursing, and it hasn't been an issue with my two.
