I was recently told that if you are nursing when you are pregnant and the baby doesn't refuse the breast you are having the same sex but its the opposite if baby weens. Just curious of this was true for any of you. My momma breasted me her whole pregnancy with my sister but I know that could be coincidental.

Not true for me! My daughter (19 months) is still going strong while I'm 30 weeks pregnant with a boy.

I hope this is true! LO weaned when I was about 13 weeks along and would have been happy to continue had I not shut down the milk bar, so maybe this means we're having another girl! We're TG thou so another loooooooong 23 weeks to go!
ETA: I'm an idiot, I somehow missed I already posted on this thread back when it was first written. Pregnancy brain? Mummy brain? What's it called when you have both at the same time?!

True for me, not true for two of my friends who breastfed through pregnancy.

DS was fine to continue but we weaned pretty early on - he had transitioned to whole milk and I was ready to stop! I'm hoping for a girl but another boy would be awesome too! 8 more weeks until my U/S!
@Ree723: it really is worse when combined! I feel like my IQ has dropped so much lately

I'm 26 weeks and my Dd is still nursing....she's getting a sister!

we weaned, partly because I lost supply, but I'm pretty sure a lot of the supply loss was due to him not feeding properly. #2 is also a boy, so not true for me!
