It's always been Peeta for me. If I had seen the movie before reading the books, I might think differently cuz dang Liam Hemsworth is a hottie.

@FarmWifeGina: Peeta in the movie totally grew on me (looks wise). But then, that's probably because the first image you see of him is on Reaping day where his hair looks ridiculous. Once that gets calmed down, he is a hottie too.

I read all three hunger games books on my honeymoon!! I made DH drive around Maui to find a book store to get me the third copy!
I am looking forward to seeing more of Gale in the second movie! When does it come out???

@jillybean218: he's actually really short, I didn't notice it in the movies but he's photoshopped to be taller in all the advertising for the movies! I think he's a cutie too!
Miley Cyrus kinda ruined Liam for me though, gotta say.

i liked who she ended up with in the books. although my opinion swayed a lot while readers but based on how the characters, i think they were a good match in the end. (ie. Peetah, hope this doesn't spoil for anyone!)

Definitely Peeta. I liked Gale a lot less by the 3rd book. But Peeta just adores her, even at his own detriment.
Sidenote: DH is bummed we're going to miss Catching Fire in the theater because DS will be here by then, lol.

@pui: hahaha, I feel the exact opposite! To me, Peeta is the obvious choice. Edward/Jacob is a lot harder for me!

am I the only one who doesn't think the actor who plays Peeta is attractive at all? He doesn't do anything for me!!
And if I had to pick a Hemsworth brother I'd pick Chris! (aka Thor)

I found Peeta to be sort of whiny and as others have mentioned, Gale lost his integrity in the end.I also feel like she settled for Peeta because she thought that's all she deserved after everything that happened.
Clearly I have put too much time thinking about this!

I don't find the actor that plays Peeta that attractive, but I'd still pick Peeta based on the character in the books. I didn't like Gale as much by the end of the series..
