Has anyone been following the manhunt going on in Pennsylvania right now? One of the crime scenes is less than a mile from my house, and this is all I can think about. It's such a horrific tragedy and praying for all involved.

we live about 10 miles away. It looks like they've just updated, that they think he may have killed himself. But they don't say why they believe that..... I wonder if they are just waiting to ID his body? SO SCARY though.

@Cupcake: I'm starting to not believe anything that they're saying only because they were convinced that he was holed up in Souderton only to find that he wasn't there, and then thought he was holed up in his house in Pennsburg when he wasn't there. So I'm skeptical until they actually have him.

@2PeasinaPod: Yes I am in Bucks county and we were ordered to "stand in place" last night - Helicopters were flying over my house - ugh I was so scared!!!
eta: schools and DCP were open today but no outside playtime!

ugh I'm in delco and I hate this. Our good friends live a few blocks from the souderton incident. It makes me so sad. It seems like we know a lot of the same people, my friend went to high school with him -- on top of the two kids involved he has an 8 month old with his current wife. It is just so sad for everyone involved.

@reverie: I did see that too...I've read that his wife, son, the two little girls and his ex-wife's new fiance are all in police protection as a precaution. How scary this must be for all of them...and now those two little girls have lost so much of their family.
@Mamaof2: That's what was so scary about it all...I was working from home yesterday and couldn't figure out why there were tons of helicopters flying overhead.

@2PeasinaPod: I've been paying attention - I'm in Central PA so it's not really close, but it's really crazy esp after all of the eric frein stuff. I feel so awful for everyone involved.

This story is crazy, my SIL teaches in the school district luckily for her she was off yesterday for a dr appt and he school is closed today. Were about 20 min south of doylestown such a scary situation. the poor family i just saw an update that the one surviving victim is still in very serious condition. I didnt see what happened with the 2 daughters are they ok?

@Chillybear: He dropped his 2 daughters off with a neighbor, so they're safe, though I'm sure very scarred.
They just updated the article saying that they found a body and are making a preliminary ID of the shooter.

did anyone else get the 6abc news app update? "killed himself with sword in stomach" ?!?! what a selfish shell of a man leaving his children parentless and practically family-less. makes me sick to my stomach
