For the past couple weeks I have been having phantom baby kicks at least 2 or 3 times a day and they are driving me crazy. I have even taken a few pregnancy tests to be sure I am not pregnant. Anyone else have these? When did they stop?

I felt like I was crazy but I had them like crazy the first week after lo was born..it's only been a couple weeks since he was born so I don't think I'm that much help.

Yup I noticed it for about a week after she was born. I figured it was just gas/digestion since I was kind of backed up anyway!

me too, year pp and I occasionally get them. I even took a test even though I know it is impossible that I'm pregnant again.
@futuremrsmck: I'm glad you said you're getting them so much after too!

@FutureMrsMcK: I swear I still had them randomly at a year out. It was freaky!

I get occasional ones at 11 months pp and it makes me freak that I could be pregnant without knowing, and then common sense kicks in.

I had them for months after my DD was born! So convincingly that I also took a preg. test. It's really strange!

I get them. But I think maybe they're gas bubbles and maybe I've had them all my life and just not noticed until after I had a baby, as I now equate the feeling with how a baby's movements feel. Does that make sense?!

I still get them, and we're over a year out. It is the weirdest thing!

I never noticed any until 11 months pp and then I started feeling strong phantom kicks! We were ntnp so I took a test and sure enough, pregnant! But, I was only about six weeks at the time so I KNOW it wasn't proper baby kicks i was feeling! Clearly my body was trying to tell me something though. I've felt them all the way through, but it's only been the past two weeks or so (18.5 weeks pregnant now) that I can tell they are definite baby kicks and not phantom ones.

@heartonastring: I sort of feel the same way! I have weird little movements or muscle spasms or something and I think "wow, if I were pregnant, I would definitely think that was a baby moving". (I'm 11 months pp and definitely not pregnant). I probably never would have thought twice about it if I had never been pregnant.
