Getting my screen replaced tomorrow, thanks R! What is a good case that handles drops? I do not want a big clunky thing like an Otterbox.

Something rubbery that can absorb the shock before the screen cracks would probably be best.

Agree with @pui: mine has two parts -- a rubber layer and then a plastic one. My cat's favorite game is to throw my phone on the floor, but nothing has broken!

I've had this casecrown regular case for a long time and drop my phone constantly and nothing has happened to my phone surprisingly!

I have a Speck case and it has a pretty slim profile. It's done it's job so far!

Can't beat an otter box! Not a huge deal if it goes on right away and never know any different! Kid proof, and the lifetime warranty and fabulous customer service with otter box peeps is great too!

I have a life proof case and I love it... It's not too bulky or that sticky rubber

@Smurfette: the rubber layer is very flexible, so I think that helps absorb the shock when it's dropped!
Also the second link I posted is a Speck case, which other PPs have mentioned. It's one piece but completely lined with rubber on the inside.

Awesome case! My phone has survived so much abuse. I'm seriously amazed that it hasn't cracked or broken yet, with how much LO throws it around.

I accidentally ran my phone over with my car a few months ago. My otterbox case had some tire marks on it but my phone was perfectly fine. I was shocked the screen didn't crack. I will be loyal customer from now on. R cracked my screen with my speck case on. I now have a lifeproof case and love it! They have them for 50% off on NBD.

I have a Lifeproof and now DH and my dad do too. Mine has been through the washer (don't ask), dad's gets dropped in a barn and stepped on by cattle--they are fine. It was pricey but was so so so worth it. The are much slimmer than Otterboxes and hold up better too.
The crappy part is my car charger doesn't fit without taking the case off. I charge it at night though and rarely in the car.

I shattered my screen with a speck. Sad sad sad. Spent money on a life proof and dropped many times and great so far!!!

Flung my iphone out of my hand while rapidly pointing with it. Lifeproof protected it. Plus it is waterproof.
