A lot of people send out photo cards featuring family photos or holiday-themed photos of their little ones out for Christmas, New Years, etc. But does anyone send out cards with photo shoots for other holidays (i.e., Easter...Valentines Days...so forth)?
Have you received these types of cards for other holidays and, if so, did you think they were nice or did you think the family pretentious?

We got a photo card for new years from some friends. It was really cute! I've never seen one for further out holidays though.

Nope because cards are expensive plus stamps. I would think it's cute!
But might be fun to do to just sent via the interweb!

One of our friends does this. I think she makes them herself so they are not too pricey (the only thing that might stop me from doing this is the price is what I mean). We get one for Chinese New Years, Easter and Halloween last year I think, there might have been one more... but I forget for what.
I think it's cute! 
Especially if you have a young kid because you can watch someone grow up basically.

We've only ever sent photo cards for Christmas (and our wedding save the dates). I love the idea of sending them for other holidays once we have kids but the price of the cards and stamps would probably prevent me from actually ordering them. I never thought it would be prentious. I love getting pictures of my friends and family's children!

I wouldn't because I am lazy... this is the first year I have ever sent holiday cards. But I think it would be cute to receive some and I wouldn't think it was pretentious

I've never seen them for anything but birthdays. I don't know if I would send them myself, I can barely get out christmas cards!

We might do a new year's card because I haven't taken a Christmas pic yet. I think one or two per family per year is sweet. If I got several cards from an acquaintance I would think it was a little pretentious but they'd still make it on the fridge.

We do! Only to close family (maybe 7 or 8 families total). I love sending mail, and might as well share pictures of our cute kid, right?

I wouldn't necessarily think it was pretentious but if I got one from someone other than a close family member I'd think they must have money to burn on the cards/postage for a wide distribution.
I sent Halloween cards, but designed (I use the word *very* loosely) them myself as just a 4x6 print for 15 cents at Walmart and mailed them to aunties, grandmas and great grandmas and my two best friends.

Never got one but I'd think it is cute. I think the long holiday letters explaining each family members' accomplishments are annoying/pretentious but just a normal picture card? send me as many as you want.

I have a friend that does a valentines card instead of a holiday card (with a photo of her girls) and I love it!!!
