I'm trying to take a passport photo of my LO and it's proving tricky. I know a photo studio won't work well because she doesn't cooperate well for strangers, so I was planning on taking it at home. Only problem is, I have no place in my house with even light.

I tried sticking a lamp on the other side of the room opposite from the window, but the window side is still showing up much lighter. I don't think they'll allow me to use a photo with shadows on one side of her face. Is this something that could be fixed with editing? Does anyone know if this is fixable?
