I like the ones from Gap, but they don't have any these year. I'd like to get some for Olive for the winter. I don't like any frills on them and haven't seen any plain ones around.

I got a plain black one and a plain gray one from the toddler section at Target for $5 each.
They also have them at American Apparel, though much pricier.

H&M basics.
Walmart has them too...I bought some white ones for a recent tie dye project. I think the brand is Garanimals and they were less than $4. I think they had diff colors.

I just ordered some from Old Navy earlier this week. Children's Place had some last year, but I haven't looked there yet.

old navy has plain back, gray and white long sleeved shirts. BUT they have a slight poof in the shoulder area. Which I don't mind. But when in doubt, H&M basics should have them too like @autumnlove mentioned above.

The Children's Place boys section (girls section have little bows on them and run a lot smaller compared to the boys), H&M, Next boys section, (the girl's section scrunches up a little at the shoulders).

i have to make a trip to h&m so will pick some up there. i like them plain with nothing on them, and fitted, so their shirts are perfect!
