I bought an IWP in September and it is worth every penny. I fingered it broke down to roughly $5/ per month which is roughly like buying a cup of coffee. Since I don't buy coffee I justified it being my monthly splurge. I can't even tell you how happy it makes me. The paper quality is amazing, I'm crossing off goals, and staying organized. I love what Tayna stands for and how she presents her brand. I love all the other products she creates, too. I also own a fitness planner and it is really well thought out. I'm just a huge fan. I've own other fancy planners and they do not compare to IWP. I think you should buy one

I'm hoping to update my planner mid year so following this thread. @Ash: I was contemplating buying that planner from Amazon, but not sure about hose rings. They look kinda big and I dunno if they will annoy me.

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: for the cheap ones, I liked the At A Glance. But they are still $20 or so. Not as sturdy to write on but nice

@FannyMae: if you have a hobby lobby, you can get it for 40% off. I think I paid like $17/18.

I really like my Plum Paper Planner. You can customize them, but the base price for a weekly planner is $31. Teacher planners are $16.

I geek out over planners! mochithings.com has some pretty affordable ones that are super cute. My current one is the Action Method notebook. It doesn't have a calendar function and is great for taking notes, which is important to me in my work.

@Ash: I'm in Australia, so I haven't heard of that before. I can order it from amazon as they have it on international shipping. I can't find any retailers here that sell 18 month planners from mid-year, only online from the US.

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: try searching for codes, I bought an inkwell press calendar and definitely didn't pay full price for it. Maybe 15% off? It wasn't a tremendous amount off but it helped!

I do love it, it is such a lovely book. I honestly don't use it as much as I could but it certainly makes me very happy!

@mrs-carrot It has more note pages than other planners I've seen. It has three pages per month and then a section in the way back with more note pages. Each weekly spread has a little section for notes, too. I'm not sure if that would be enough though. It depends how many meetings you have per month and how big you write.
