I need help figuring out what might be up with my crazy post-BC periods and if anyone has had similar experiences. Probably TMI, but I"m curious if I should be worried or if this is normal.
Off BC in April
Cycle 1: 40 days - heavy, clotted, crampy, miserable, lasted 7 days
Cycle 2: 40 days - very, very light, mostly brown, lasted 3 days
Cycle 3?: 23ish days - started with very light brown spotting and this morning became a bit heavier and crampier. Still brown.
Is this kind of wild swing normal?

I'm no expert but I have definitely been told that it takes a while for periods to regulate after coming off BC. I went off in May and my first cycle was 29 days, and this past cycle was 32. To me your period doesn't sound THAT crazy - I would just give your body some time to readjust itself and not worry too much about it.

I think it's a little early to worry too much. It took me 8 or 9 months to regulate after I came off of birth control. Some people just take longer than others unfortunately. Have you thought about trying to chart so that you can at least see if you're ovulating?

I came off Mirena in Feb. I know it's not the same as the pill but I've dealt with similar cycle issues.
Mirena out in Feb.
March- nothing but brown spotting
April- 28 Days
May- 38 Days
June 44 Days
July 28 Days.
All similar in length and Flow.
My Dr. said normally 6 actual cycles before doing any testing and that's with coming off any kind of BC. I know how frustrating it is but try to give it a little more time.
