@SLR: I would honestly just use my own office if I had one!

If you are more comfortable using the mother's room, what amount of time are you allowed in the room? I would say 9:30/9:45, 12:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

I would use your office. I work about the same hours you do and I pump at about 9, 12 and 3. I also make sure daycare doesn't feed M past 3 so we're on the same schedule. If I were in your shoes, I would put a cover on, lock your door and pump. I covered the windows in my office with computer paper. Tacky, but effective.

My initial thoughts are 8, 12, and 2 or 8:30, 12:30, 2:30. For the first couple times maybe try using the mothers room just so you get your routine down and get more comfortable with all the gear and then once you get the hang of things, pump in your office. Just lock the door, dim the lights, and get on with your bad self. Could you put a lamp near your desk so you still have some light to work with? Also, you could put a sign on your door that says "privacy please".

@SLR: I'd pump in the mothers room if at all possible. Its easier to use a mothers room to clean parts and store milk. I think it would be awkward to pump in your office given that you have a frosted glass wall and you're in a high traffic area.

Pumping 3 times a day may be ideal, but its really hard to pump 3 times a day at work. As a WOHM, I pumped twice at work and once before bed, which worked for me. The person using the room once a day may be in the weaning process, which means another spot in the mothers room may open up.

If you know who is using the mothers room, you could also email them to let them know you'll be returning from leave and using the mothers room too.

@SLR: I know when I got close to the end of my goal of a year I was able to drop down to twice a day. Also, my LO was eating a lot of solids at that point, so if she was short an ounce it wasn't a big deal.
