You guys are great at finding stuff!
I'm looking for some lightweight linen pants in a light color with elastic cuffs to prevent mosquito bites. I was thinking about just buying fabric and trying to get a bunch of pair made because that might be more affordable. I am sooo delicious to mosquitoes and I think covering up is the only way I'll really be able to prevent the bites.
Help me bees! And I don't want to spend a lot on these!

Sorry I'm really of little help. But my first thought was to buy some lightweight cotton pajama-ish pants in a neutral color/print and have someone elasticize the cuffs?

I am quite tasty to mosquitoes too. I don't know if linen will cut it, because they tend to bite me through light fabrics. The best success I've had with clothing-as-repellent is denim jeans that are slightly loose. I know it's painful to contemplate denim in heat and humidity, but at least in my experience, your body adapts to the heat and humidity and I'd rather sweat than feed the bugs!

Hmmm... I think I would probably buy those at my destination (in your case the Philippines). Clothes made for the climate tend to be more effective than trying to buy them in the US. In the summers Uniqlo in Tokyo does sell linen items but not sure if they'd have anymore now that the weather has turned.

These are not linen but they're lightweight and you could probably just add elastic a to the pant hems. I love these! I also have a pair that do have a fitted stretchy hem on the bottom but can't find it on the site right now.

@iluvboba637: i was looking at those from old navy but was hoping to find something in a lighter color because it's cooler and better for not attracting bugs. thanks for the links!

@BananaPancakes: a little too pricey. i bought a couple inexpensive pairs from forever21 that are 100% linen so hopefully they work out!
