We followed the Oh Crap method, and I'm pretty sure the author would say to go back to commando until she gets it. It will be easier to catch her in the act of she tried popping on the floor.

Agree with going to commando or totally no bottoms. LO trained over Labor Day weekend but has lost some interest and had been having a lot of accidents, so we've been doing bottomless at home and commando out and about. He wears underwear at daycare and does well with it there. He's always been really good about telling us about poop regardless, but pee he just doesn't care if he wets himself! This too shall pass... Right?!

I would be annoyed and disgusted too, but at least she's trying.

I'm sure you've thought of rewarding her, so I don't have any suggestions. I bribed our daughter to finally poop on the potty, but she was refusing to do it anywhere but in a pull-up....

Commando sounds like your best option here.

What about bringing her to the washroom with you and have her seeing you pooping and making a big deal about how clean your panties are because you didn't poop in them?

Or maybe just taking her to buy some "special" panties to help discourage her from staining them?

I would definitely go commando. That was a game changer for my LO with poop.

@sorrycharlie: or put her bottomless in a sweater and socks or leg warmers and don't crank the heat. As someone who wore a uniform skirt outside for years, I assure you leg insulation is not super important, assuming your house is above 40 degrees or so.

@sorrycharlie: Do you have a little potty or is she using the real toilet? My DD couldn't poop on the real toilet for a while when we started because there was nothing to push her feet against to help brace herself, so we used a little potty at the beginning. Good luck, we are having poop accidents for other reasons and I agree it is the grossest thing!

@sorrycharlie: okay, this may be super weird, but can she watch you go #2 so she will truly understand what pooping on the potty means?? LOL then at least you will know that she knows and you can work with her.
