My FIL went in today for a cardiology appt. this afternoon and nearly had a heart attack. They are keeping him at the hospital and he will have bypass heart surgery very soon most likely. He went in knowing it was a possibility since they were going to discuss stents vs. surgery but the fact that he nearly had an attack right there is really hitting my husband hard.

My father has had stents done a year ago and I was in tears over it when I found out (he didn't tell me until he was in recovery) so I can only begin to imagine the worry my husband is going through right now. I am leaving work soon and we will go to the hospital together so that I can take care of LO while he sees his dad. I know my MIL is having a really hard time as well.

My husband and I are not religious but his parents are very much so and I'm sure they could really use some prayers/good thoughts going into this.
