@.twist.: FF gives me a Nov 24 day too-- I have a long LP so that's when AF is due. No way could I wait that long (not least because I would like a glass of wine with dinner on Sunday!)

@Foodnerd81: haha! Yea, no kidding! I kind of feel the same way, if I'm clear for the month I want to be able to have a nice cold beer! Especially because my work xmas party is on the 30th and I would rather not be drinking cran and soda to "hide" anything! I don't want people asking questions!

@.twist.: My plan for those occasions is to accept 1 glass of wine and just not drink it. If people see you holding it, it's doubtful they would question anything and who will keep track if you go back for another or finish that one?
I got this idea from a friend who was pregnant at a wedding we went to in Sept. I had no idea until she told us a few weeks ago, and looking back at the photos, she is clearly holding 1 glass of champagne in a few photos and it never gets empty. Tricky tricky.
ETA- that's for after I get a BFP-- before, I will have 1 glass if I had a BFN that morning. If I'm not pregnant enough for a positive, then I'm not pregnant enough for the baby to get the alcohol.

@Cherrybee: as well you should be! ;D Just kidding, I'm seriously SO happy for you!
@Foodnerd81: I think my problem with testing early is that I feel I've 'wasted' the test. Basically, I'm cheap lol. Plus it gets me thinking about possible BFP's earlier, which makes me feel like the TWW lasts even longer. I will try to think about it as you are, just as more information instead of a sign of failure.
@.twist.: Right! Luck and baby dust to all of us!

@Foodnerd81: Oh! That is a great idea, and I actually agree with you on the BFN/P thing,. if it's negative, you best believe I'll be having a glass of wine on the 30th!

@StrawberryBee: Oh yeah, I felt like that last month too- I was using dollar store tests and still felt bad. That's why I ordered a 25 pack of Wondfos for $8 on Amazon-- no cheap guilt!

@Foodnerd81: I'll break down and order some Wondfo's if I'm BFN this month

I bought a test at lunch. BFN.
It's still early though, no sign of AF but I had a feeling it'd be a BFN.

@.twist.: It is still early, so no harm done. And now you don't have to wonder about today... you can save your wondering for tomorrow.

So... this morning, 11DPO, I did a Wondfo test as usual. After the 5 minutes, but before 10, the very faintest of faint lines showed up. Like, you must hold it under the light and squint to see it. I called DH in to make sure my eyes weren't just seeing what I wanted them to see, but he could see it too, once I pointed it out to him. He says it's too light and doesn't count (and also reminded me that I said I wasn't going to test until Saturday. I lied). I dipped another Wondfo in the same FMU and this time it took a few minutes longer than 10 minutes but an even fainter line did show up. So... yeah. That happened. No congrats yet, but please keep your fingers and toes crossed that it is what I think it is! I mean, 2 super super faint lines is a really good sign, right?
I think tomorrow I will use the FRER I've been saving for a "special occasion". I really really really hope this is it!
ETA: I even tried to take a photo of it for you ladies, since I love you so much, but it was too faint to even show up in an Iphone photo. If only I had the newest Iphone.

@foodnerd81: you have good self control - if 2 faint lines showed up on a wondfo for me in a row I would have prob busted out the FRER right away! I can't wait to hear about your results tomorrow!
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@chibee: I know-- cheap overrides everything I guess? Also I was sort of afraid it wouldn't show anything. Tomorrow though I'll probably bust out all three-- wondfo, dollar store, and FRER.

@Foodnerd81: eeeeep! Crossing everything as well!!!! I hope it gets darker! How exciting!
I really think I'm going to be a roll over this month ladies, I am getting more AF symptoms, and this morning I was PMS-y. I guess I won't know until AF actually shows up, but I just have a feeling it will.

@Foodnerd81: here's hoping for a nice dark line this weekend so you can start celebrating!! :AHH the suspense

@Foodnerd81: That is definitely a good sign!! Good luck, fingers crossed here!!

Non-update-- took another Wondfo tonight after a 2 hour hold, same thing-- after 5 minutes, less than 10, barely there squinter. I'll test again tomorrow with FMU and will use a FRER if there is still a squinter. Had to toss all the pee sticks before my BIL came over!
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@Foodnerd81: OMFG. Lines on more than 1 test are like- definitely not evaps. I can't wait to see your frer! I always feel like wandfos don't really get that dark because they're dumb. Frer is the real deal....I'm so excited for you!!!
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@PrincessBaby: I know, the odds of 3 evap lines, all showing up in 10 minutes or less, are pretty small. But they are seriously so faint you can barely see it-- if DH didn't confirm that he could barely see it I would have thought maybe I was seeing things. So I'm pretty optimistic, but not celebrating just yet.
I am also no drinking though DH just offered me a beer, in front of his brother, and pushed me when I said no. I'm sure he has forgotten that I can't drink already. Dummy.
Definitely a FRER tomorrow, 12 DPO.

I'm a turkey smuggler!!! Best late birthday present ever ;D. I can't tell DH yet because he just came home with his kids (my step kids) and I won't be able to get him alone until tonight.
@Foodnerd81: luck and baby dust to you!
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
@StrawberryBee: Yay! Congrats!! Good luck telling DH when you get him alone.
And, thanks. I am hoping for the same good news tomorrow. I was almost (not quite) glad I didn't get an obvious positive tonight when I found out BIL was coming over, so I can understand the frustration of waiting to tell your DH.
nectarine / 2530 posts
@Foodnerd81: thanks! Unfortunately each of the kids had an 'issue' tonight (stepson got caught bullying at school and stepdaughter just got braces and is frustrated w them) so DH isn't in the best of moods. And I'm bursting with info I can't share!
