    @Modern Daisy: Happy to help. Every time they come up I tell people to stay away.

    @mrs. bird: It was pretty sad :(. Luckily we were still NTNP so it wasn't as if we'd been really trying and invested in the idea for months. But I really thought for a little while I was pregnant and DH had this amazing look on his face when I told him I might have a + test. After that we decided to try for real.

    @Foodnerd81: haha, you sound like me with the tests! It's the whole reason hubs and I had to sit down and have a second talk about our different views of what "casually ttc" meant

    @runnerd: Oh... DH knew me well enough to know I couldn't casually TTC. Actually better than I knew myself-- I suggested casually starting a little earlier than planned, and he knew I would be all in once we started! I really only get obsessed with it for about one week out of the month, I swear

    Hi ladies! At 13 DPO I got a real BFP this morning!! I know - I already posted about it on the bee, but I just wanted to share with the POAS November board and wish you all the very best of luck!!! I hope there'll be many more BFP's this month - it's looking good so far and I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

    Ok silly question here. How long do you think urine would last? I just woke up and really have to pee but I'm out of pregnancy tests. So can I pee in a cup and put it in the fridge lol? I'll probably be gone an hour to get to the store and get something to eat.

  14. mrsvdv

    apricot / 431 posts

    @anonysquire: I think it would def be ok to store it in the fridge for an hour or so. I think my doctor told me to do that once when I had a UTI and had to bring him some urine for testing but couldn't get there early in the morning. Just keep it cool and it'll last!

  15. anonysquire

    cantaloupe / 6923 posts

    @mrsvdv: I am an idiot. I went to Walmart and shopped around, got some ornaments, some Christmas earrings and an extension cord and totally forgot a pregnancy test. Now I have a full cup of urine in my fridge and no test. Ugh dangit!

  16. mrsvdv

    apricot / 431 posts

    @anonysquire: oh no, I'm sorry!! On the bright side, maybe you've got pregnancy brain?! But I bet you could test later on today (I don't know what time zone you're in), as long as it stays cool I don't know what could happen to it..

    papaya / 10570 posts

    @anonysquire: You forgot tests???? How???? How could you forget something something so important to me - I'm 5 thousand miles away from you, sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for you to get back from the shop and you forgot tests???! Lol!

  18. anonysquire

    cantaloupe / 6923 posts

    @mrsvdv: I feel like a complete idiot lol! Right now it's 4:30am so I could go back out but I'm so lazy and warm in my bed now. Grr. Our first cycle TTc I left the keys in the ignition, running while we went into the store on accident and totally teased DH it was pregnancy brain, even though we were like 1dpo lol.

    @Cherrybee: I have no idea how I forgot? I'm dying too lol. I'm still thinking its gonna be a negative though. I tested when my period was a day late I think and got a negative and havent tested since. Well now my period is 6 days late... Blah!

    On a unrelated note I had a really disturbing dream that my cervix was hanging out of me and then fell out... I guess I'm been a little obsessed with cervical position....

    @mrs. bird: @runnerd: @Mrs squirreld:

    Thank you very much. DH and I have decided to get a little more aggressive this cycle. He was initially against doing an IUI for understandable reasons that I totally agreed with, but when I told him the news yesterday he just hugged me and said we should do the IUI this month.

    papaya / 10570 posts

    @.twist.: Are you 8DPO too?? I'm wondering if my body has a slow reaction to progesterone - hence the reason I get a temp rise days and days after my first positive OPK? If so, I could be 10DPO? I dunno. I'm clearly rubbish at charting. Other bees have had positives at 8DPO though - you just have to be prepared for a possibly false negative if it is too early (and that is crushing). So exciting! I hope you get your BFP too!

  36. StrawberryBee

    nectarine / 2530 posts

    @.twist.: I know, I'm thinking the same thing ;). Darn you, @Cherrybee, for tempting me to test early!

    Edit: I'm 9DPO today. Will I ruin my entire weekend by testing tomorrow morning? hmmm...

  37. Cherrybee

    papaya / 10570 posts

    @StrawberryBee: Sorry!!!!!!

  38. Foodnerd81

    wonderful cherry / 21504 posts

    @StrawberryBee: I've been testing already, starting yesterday at 9PO (um... shamefully I tested with FMU and after work), and again this morning. I'm OK because I know it's too early, so I'm not that crushed when it's negative, despite my holding it up the light and squinting. For me, it's MORE distracting to be thinking... but.... if I tested this morning, WOULD it have been positive? I'm all about knowing, and I see it as all I know is that it's negative TODAY, not that I'm not actually going to get a BFP this month.

    So only you know how testing too early will affect you. DH wanted me to wait until Saturday after I tested yesterday, so when I admitted I tested again this morning, he said I had to wait until Sunday. I said I'd be impressed if I skipped tomorrow.

    @Cherrybee: hehe, I'm actually probably around 11dpo, but because this is my first cycle FF told me to wait a little longer and gave me the nov 24 date to test. However, my body is being weird and I can't tell if it's pregnancy symptoms or just me psyching myself out! I'm freaking out over here!!!! LOL!

    @StrawberryBee: It's so easy to be tempted by others, if she had good lucky, maybe we will too right? RIGHT????
