POAS Thread 6 months + TTC: February Flutters

I'm having some more spotting so I'm pretty sure I'm out this cycle. I made an appointment to see my OB on Thursday to get his thoughts. I'm having all these paranoid thoughts that my body is messed up from having a csection or messed up from having an IUD (had difficulty getting it removed).

@CatchAFallingStar: Just ice ice ice and you will be fine re: the shots. That's awesome that you will be moving on to a new phase in your TTC journey.

@LindsayInNY: fingers crossed for you! I've been thinking of you because I've been comparing charts like crazy and planning things like the exact same BD schedule as our success (which is slightly insane, but oh well!)

This is going to be the longest week ever I fear. Yesterday and today stomach felt mostly fine which makes me feel like I'm phantom symptom spotting or something. But my chart! I can't even make this up... How weird, right?!

@LindsayInNY: wow! That is identical. How similar are your other charts?

  6. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Snowdrop: Usually more up and down. Here are two other cycles in between chemical and current cycle. I excluded the first post-chemical since it was long. Green is now while orange is chemical. Maybe I'm just reading into it a lot?

@LindsayInNY: Oh my gosh! That is so exciting! How many DPO are you now? Are you waiting til you are due for AF to test?

  8. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Crystal: I want to be positive but not get my hopes too far up either though! I'm 9DPO today. Plan to test Saturday, I think? I take progesterone so AF won't arrive until a couple of days after I stop it. So I'm basically forced to test either way.

@sandy: I hope your OB will have some good ideas for you!

@LindsayInNY: that's crazy how similar those charts are! Hoping this means a BFP is in sight for you.

@sandy: hugs honey. I have the same paranoid thoughts. I didn't have a c section but I worry about how birth and other factors may have effected things. FX that everything is okay and it's just taking a bit longer to have that magic this time.

Girls who temp..... do you have ever worry about having blankets on you or doing things that could affect your temperature?

I've just started temping this month but I don't really trust myself. I like a lot of blankets, but don't always use the same amount of blankets. Sometimes when I'm temping, I move my foot onto a cold part of the sheets and then am positive my temp is affected. Does anyone else know how to eliminate these issues in a practical way?

    bananas / 9229 posts

@MrsMcD: I've only found a difference with extreme temperature differences - AC on, electric blanket, etc. I will note on FF if I wake up feeling warmer than usual but that's it. I don't think it has a huge huge effect in the long run though!

@sandy: Boo, sorry Is AF early or was this the continued spotting?

  24. sandy

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@LindsayInNY: spotting from 3 days ago turned into full blown AF late last night so it was a 26 day cycle since I counted today as CD 1 (not yesterday since it started around 10pm)

ETA: I read on here to start counting CD 1 once it's red/full flow before 5pm...is that right?

  25. Freckles

    honeydew / 7444 posts

    @sandy: Sorry to hear.

  26. Freckles

    honeydew / 7444 posts

@sandy: That's right, i wouldn't count it from when it was just spotting.

  27. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@sandy: I only counted CD1 when it was red-red and required more than a panty liner. I could usually tell quite a difference.

  28. sandy

    cantaloupe / 6687 posts

@LindsayInNY: what if it's red/red and more than a liner at 10pm...is that day CD1 or move it to the next day?

  29. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@sandy: I don't know =/ Mine always starts first thing in the morning so I don't know what you would put?

  30. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@sandy: I would count it as CD1 so long as its before you go to bed.

@LindsayInNY: Sending prayers for a BFP!

    @sandy: I'm so sorry friend.

I always count mine as cd1 whatever day it starts, regardless of time. But as long as you are consistent, it should be fine.

  33. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@AmeliaBedilia: how are you doing today?

  34. AmeliaBedilia

    nectarine / 2192 posts

@Crystal: Doing fairly well. I was super stressed for a work meeting. I had to put my big girl panties on and stand up for myself (so hard) but I think I did well. Hopefully now I can lower the stress and have a better chance this month. I am really trying to shift my mindset and focus on other things, BD during FW without spending a ton of mental energy on it. The plan was to work out more and spend 15 minutes daily getting rid of clutter, but darn the Olympics! Of course, I am likely to ovulate next Thursday, which is so frustrating! Sunday is no problem, but we can't do any of the other days without significant driving. To make matters worse, DH has a SUPER stressful day at work the day before I ovulate. I'm not sure how we will work this out.
    How are you?

Hey y'all! Just wanted to pop in and say hi! FX for those of you who are still peeing on sticks this month!

I'm fairly certain I'm out. AF due Friday, but I have no reason to believe I'm pg. feel exactly the same as always. I'm cd12 now. Had a bfn at cd10. I know it's early but srsly I'm nog pg. not even that bummed bc if it happened this month I'd have to miss my best friends wedding. So I'm looking onward to march!

@buttermilk: great attitude! Sorry you don't think your KU this month, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you just in case!

@AmeliaBedilia: great job for standing up for yourself! That can be so hard, but so rewarding! I really admire your dedication in BDing when DH is far away- you don't let anything stop you!

I kinda wish I was in the TWW now because I LOVE the Olympics. At least this will take my mind off waiting for O day? Not much getting done around my house either right now because of those.

I'm doing well, trying to have a more hopeful and less desperate attitude this month than last month.

Hey anybody tried softcups? For some reason I always scoffed at the idea in the past but I just remembered about them and thinking of trying for next month! I want that turkey baby!!!!

  38. LindsayInNY

My chart is still identical to last time (chemical). I really hope this isn't my cycle/chart completely screwing with me...

    @sandy: I'm so sorry, hugs

@buttermilk: glad you could find the silver lining! Although you're not out yet, I do hope you get your turkey baby

@LindsayInNY: if the suspense is killing me it must be driving you NUTS!!!! FX super hard for you this weekend.

@AmeliaBedilia: hope the timing works out for you!!!

@Crystal: ditto on the attitude! I'm trying to apply that to this TWW, I usually drive myself bonkers with symptom spotting but have done a better job of letting go this time. We can do it!
