@AmeliaBedilia: how far is she? Normally people wait to announce twins because vanishing twin syndrome is so common. I actually think I was pregnant with twins and miscarried one early.

ok ladies, need some advice. I got a positive OPK this afternoon so our only good days were yesterday and today. DH is gone now until Wednesday late - by then it's too late to worry about pushing for one more time, right? or maybe it depends on when I see a temp rise? (I have a short surge and often see a temp rise by the next morning)
I should add I am really bad at late night sex, I'm way too tired to be into it. and I never overdo the BD anymore in general. so I'm basically just looking for someone else to validate that

@littlek: I believe 20 weeks.
We are officially in the stressful FW. Trying to time things with doing distance is super hard, and DH has a super stressful week. I will likely ovulate CD15 (Thursday). DH is being super awesome offering to drive so that if all goes well, we will hit O-4, O-2, O, and possibly O-1. It seems I am ovulating at the most difficult time, but so glad DH is motivated. It is so frustrating that this cycle and the next would correspond to ideal maternity leave times, and these are the last two cycles before DH moves back home full time.

We really are cycle twins, I will probably O that day too.
Yay for DH being in this with you! And even though it's stressful, you'll have great timing.

@bhbee: Sorry I missed your call for advice! I think you need to squeeze in another BD tonight. You can't fully trust OPKs to tell you when you ovulate. You may be ovulating later than you think So BD when your man gets home!!

I'm on the other February thread, but we are on month 14 of trying, so I guess I should be here. Pretty stoked about this month!! On clomid, bd O-2 O-1 and O!! Took mucinex (per RE) progesterone levels great! And used preseed since CM seems to be our problem. FINGERS CROSSED!

@fotolori1: since last summer with two chemicals in there - that is my biggest problem. I had the same issues trying for #1 (which took longer because in the beginning I wasn't ovulating and wasn't sure what was going on) and 100mg is what did it that time. I'm doing that again so feeling hopeful but also scared.

I can't imagine finally getting a BFP and it not being true. I after trying so long the emotional roller coaster would kill me!
I understand you being scared! I would too! I have always ovulated and had regular periods, so I am only on 50mg. It is my 2nd cycle. Does it make you crampy and bleed more than normal when AF comes?

@fotolori1: I didn't notice too much difference with AF, maybe a little worse? I definitely get the hormonal side effects like hot flashes and headaches.

@MrsMcD: clomid is a pill. And it's on the cheap drug list at several big pharmacies even if you don't have coverage. You can get it from an ob or re - I originally got it from a midwife who was a np. But I'd advise being monitored with it which is probably best done by an re, though if your ob will monitor that works too

@MrsMcD: Nope! It's an over-the-counter item but at the pharmacy. I called CVS and just asked them to order it for me. You could go into the pharmacy and ask too. Or order is online. Walgreens was the cheapest but it's on Amazon too.

@fotolori1: If you google it, there's more info on the website. It's a white powder you mix with water twice a day. It's folic acid and myo-something. My doctor says everyone whose taken it lately has gotten pregnant. Can't hurt at this point...

@Crystal: I almost always ovulate CD15 (today), and if so, we will have hit O-4, O-2, and O-1. We will probably also get O+1. CM is suggestive but hard to know for sure since we've been using preseed. I am feeling angry and frustrated and wanting to give up on all this.
Having a rough day overall with big work issues and got a ridiculous medical bill I have to call about tomorrow. Then a storm made it impossible to watch the olympics and I went online to try to watch the video and NBC puts the winner all over the website. I know it's not a huge deal, but it's just one of those days.
