When did your LO's poop turn into neat little logs? I hate this peanut buttery poop...LO is EBF (pumped milk and nursing) and eats 1 solid meal a day.

I only got nice little logs in the very beginning of starting solids. After a while it was peanut butter. Blech.

She is 9 months, 4 bottles of formula and 3 solids, and have only had logs a handful of times.

Oh yum! Cheese curds.... We didn't have solid turds until we started solids... even then it's still hit or miss.

We got a few little soft logs after starting two meals/day, which quickly led to constipation, and since we've gotten that resolved, it's back to mush. Stinky mush.

I hate the peanut butter poops, but I prefer them to the chance of Xander being constipated, so I say let them keep on coming!!

@Adira: haha! We use cloth and she hates liners so I'm scraping poo off the daycare diapers at the end of the day...barf!

@autumnlove: Oh, haha, that sucks! It's not so bad with disposables, though making sure I get it all off Xander's butt before he tries to play with it can be hard! As soon as the diaper's off, his hands are down there to explore!!! Gross!

My LO has had maybe a handful of logs in her diaper when we first started solids. She almost always had a ton of soft poo in her diaper. Well at 24 months she is now using the potty and they are super soft logs...it's just that they got squished inside her diaper I guess.
@Adira: my pediatrician says soft poo is desirable especially for potty training...effortless poo is not traumatizing for them to go on the potty...when they have to go they just go which makes it easy for them to start using the potty for going poo.

@sandy: That's what I'm thinking too! My friend has been battling constipation with her daughter and potty training was a nightmare because of that! I'm hoping Xander's stay nice and soft, haha.
