Hello ladies! I’m new to the group! I am on my first cycle of Clomid, ttc baby #2. Yesterday and today I got super faint lines on FRER. The lines showed up on 3 separate tests. It was kind of hard to get a good picture. I was wondering if they were faint positives or indent! Any help is appreciated! Im 10/11 DPO today.

That’s a super tough call. I think I can see something, but I have had frer false positives of that type. How quickly did the line show up? Does it have pink color in person? Often early days you can’t really photograph effectively. So the bad news is ... wait and retest!!

Hmmmm! So hard to say! I definitely see something but I've been burned by FRERS in the past. I would try testing again with an 88 cent walmart test in a couple days.

@bhbee: the lines all came up within 2-10 minutes. The third one kind of looks pink in person but is really too faint to tell. I’m definitely not getting my hopes up yet!

Ok- so I couldn’t wait until morning. Just took another. Still super faint, but still a line! Could I really get 4 indents?! I’m going crazy!

Like the other ladies said, so hard to call! I’d say Bfp like 90% sure lol. I had I think 5 really light lines that turned out to be nothing, so I’m skeptical when that light

@LAZB: I know that had to be so heartbreaking. Those all looked positive to me. Now I’m thinking mine are indent lines for sure.

Update: I took 2 wondfos and got SUPER faint lines and got another faint line on a FRER. They all showed up in the time frame. I’m just nervous because the lines don’t have any color and aren’t getting darker. I’m roughly 12 dpo.

I think positive, and that today’s do look slightly darker then yesterday (I could not see it in yesterday’s but do on today’s). Some people, I think, just don’t “process” hcg as well as others...I have always had light pregnancy tests/low(ish) betas but have a 2 and 5 year old running around. Fingers crossed for you!!!

I see color in the top HCG. It looks promising, I would test again tomorrow. Good luck the waiting game is so hard!

I know exactly what you’re going through. I got my first line at 10dpo last Wednesday. It’s driving me crazy! I took a FRER on 11dpo and 13dpo and the lines look the same (if anything slightly lighter on the 13dpo one). I panicked! My husband kindly pointed out that there are sooooo many variables at play (urine concentration, time of day, lighting, different test etc) and the tests are designed to detect that you are pregnant, not ‘how pregnant’ you are, so line comparison can’t always been a good judge.
I would call and have some blood draws, that’s the only way to know for sure if your hCG is going up.
Also, FWIW, I tested again this morning (because the crazy is real! Lol) and my line was sooooo much darker. I’m free from panic for another day, hahaha.

@Jessiemuller88: looks positive to me, I don't think it's an evap line--I know from tons of beta draws that with a FRER line like this, your hcg is *really* low--like single digits low. if it's a healthy pregnancy I'd expect it to get a lot darker (like still light but no longer a squinter) in a couple days. if it's still like this tomorrow I'd maybe be concerned it was a chemical. but hopefully just a late implanter.

Hi ladies! I took another FRER this afternoon and still got a SUPER faint line like the rest of my pics. I’m starting to think it’s just a series of bad tests or a chemical. I guess only time will tell at this point. I’ll update soon! AF is due in the next couple of days.

I had a similar barely there line on a FRER, so I took it apart and realized it was the worst indent line ever.

It’s pretty late in the day to test, especially so early in your cycle. Try again in the morning.

@Jessiemuller88: aw so sorry that you're still in limbo. I got a positive on a cheapy before anything showed up on a FRER. I don't think FRER are as sensitive as they're supposed to be (my personal opinion!). Good luck with testing tomorrow

Negative FRER this morning, then AF showed up. I’m out this month ladies. Thank you for all of your support! No more early testing for me.

@Jessiemuller88: Ugh, I’m sorry! Chemicals are definitely the downside of testing early. I always say I won’t, and do too.
Hopefully you can hold out longer next month, good luck!!

@WinterBee: thank you! I’m going to do my best to test early anymore.... Too much disappointment involved! And I think the hubs will be happy if I don’t buy 20 tests next month
