I got pregnant with DD at 35 after surgery for endometriosis and a medicated IUI. All-in-all, took us about 2 years of trying before we finally figured out our problem. I'll be 39 in September and we are considering trying for our 2nd. Am I crazy? Anyone else in my "elderly" age group TTC now or soon?

Not crazy at all! It may seem so since everyone on this board is a bit on the younger side. I had my 1st when I was 37 and second when I was 40. Good luck!

I got pregnant with my first at 35, had him at 36, and am pregnant (37 weeks) with my third at 39!

I was almost 37 when my son was born. We have been trying for #2 for a little over a year, and I am almost 40. Currently in the middle of the TWW from an IUI.

Had my first at 36 and my second a few weeks before I turned 39. In New York, so many women have babies in their 40's. My OB has told me most of her patients are AMA.

My mom had me (by accident) at 39! Most of my friends' moms were always just a few years younger than her but it was NBD and also it was 33 years ago.

Not crazy at all. My aunt just had her 4th kid a month ago, and she is 39.5

Thank you all!! I am feeing very ready. I struggled with stage 4 endometriosis and had surgery right before I got pregnant with DD. I'm hoping it hasn't returned and that I still have some decent eggs left!!
ETA: and I was the first!
