@autumnlove: We get the keys next Thursday (maybe sooner) so we will move some things then, but we are not renting the actual moving trailer until the 30th. We want some time to clean and paint!

@Bao: Sounds nice! We recently moved with LO and it really helped to have MIL babysit.
I'm taking a break from the housework I've been doing, eating a snack, and deciding which task to tackle next... LO is napping. She's extra sleepy because she had her 6 month shots today!

@Bao: woohoo for moving but packing really sucks. We move next Friday but I just can't be bothered to get a move on with the packing. I'm so gonna regret this.

@plantains: I JUST started packing today, and packed maybe 6 boxes and it sucks already. We are moving only a mile down the road, so I guess I'm not overly concerned. We will have a good week to slowly move stuff over, and then we are doing the big stuff on our own so no real deadline

@Bao: our new place is less than a third of a mile away, and we have had keys since Saturday. I can't believe how much I'm dragging my feet. I think if we had a car I would be moving a few things at least. Plus we still have to paint.

@plantains: We have to paint too. I am getting anxious to get in there and get started on making it ours! When do you have to be out of your current place by?

@Bao: we have our current place until the end of the month. We do have to paint it white like it was when we moved in before we return the keys so there is a lot to do!

@Bao: so excited for you. Did you pick out colors and everything?

@plantains: Oh that's a lot of work, we didn't paint our place now but we do have holes where we hung stuff to patch up. We are doing a light tan for the main living areas, chalkboard paint and I think a blue/green color for the playroom, Gray for LO's room...and then not sure for the other rooms yet. Are you getting excited too?

Hello! My house has been so full of guests today, sister, nephews, grandma, mother in law. As a result LO didn't nap today, but I'm still hiding in the office for a few minutes to come hang out with you all!
