It's a long weekend here in the US, anyone have any fun plans?

I SAH so I didn't remember it was a long weekend until just now! lol we are having a BBQ and swimming at my parents on Su day but otherwise, nothing special. DH loathes (is there a stronger word than loathe? If so, insert that one) crowds so we won't be doing any activites.

I am sooo excited b/c the weather is finally good in the east coast!! Sat we are going to BBQ at my SIL's so DD can play with her cousins. Sunday I reserved a museum pass for an outdoor fish hatchery... I love it there b/c she can just run around, look @ animals, etc. Monday, if the weather still holds up we're thinking about the zoo!

It's supposed to rain. Again. For like another week. But we're going to attempt the beach anyways.

A LOT of outside yard work so I'm hoping the weather cooperates. They're calling for rain on Sunday and Monday so hopefully it rains during nap time. Because the yard needs it!
Otherwise there's a carnival down at the Canalside I want to take the girls to but we'll see.

@Mrs. Sunshine: that's my DH too - its suppose to be 90 on Saturday so I suggested a day trip to the beach and he looked at me like I was nuts!!!!
I have no clue what we will do!

@Mamaof2: we went to the beach last weekend. We got there early, had a delightful time, everyone was friendly and we had plenty of space to.ourselves. when we left DH kept talking about finding a space that wasn't so crowded next time....he's only happy if he's alone lol

Woohoo! I have an eye exam on Saturday, and then I think we may go shopping to see if we can score any good sales on some new professional clothes for both DH and I (we are both changing jobs). Sunday I am teaching Sunday school and then we are hanging with my family to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Monday we are going to a cookout at my friend's house! It should be a good weekend

I'm taking today as a "treat yo self" day! Getting a haircut and a massage
soooo much pampering! The rest of the weekend should be pretty relaxed, some time with family, some with friends
