We just got back from dinner, DH is giving LO a bath, so I thought I'd start this party early!
What's everyone up to?!

Trying to put LO down which is usually a loooong process. She has not napped at all today! My poor mom
I think it's because I had a 1/4 cup of coffee yesterday
She's also been incredibly fussy this week I think largely due to 6th week growth spurt. I hope!

Just trying to decide what to eat for dinner. My fridge contains spinach, avocados and grapefruits...that's about it. Not very exciting.

I’m at work for 16 minutes and then going to sign the offer for a houseeeeeeee! I’m also starving!

@Running Elley: Hooray for a house! Oh, I hope everything goes well!

Hellooo!
@regberadaisy: I found that baby got progressively less fussy from 6-10 weeks... although my baby is still the world's worst napper too.
I'm hanging out in bed watching my poor baby try to sleep after getting her 2-month shots today. She's not entirely sure if she wants to cry or sleep right now. Oy.

@redsmarties: So do I! I told myself not to get my hopes up but that’s gone COMPLETELY out the window so now I’m just going with the excitement lol. If I have to live with my FIL for another 3 months (as much as I really do love him) I think I'll pull all my hair out!

@Running Elley: Agh, yeah I can imagine that its not super fun living with your FIL. Excitement's the way to go.

We got back from eating Mexican not too long ago. I'm sitting here with the dog and DH has gone to build a guy a gaming computer. A boring night around here.

We just brought a meal to some friends of ours who just had their third baby! So precious, and even though my son is only 3.5 mos old, he looked so big next to him! Aww they grow up soo stinkin' fast!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii everyone!! Finally here... we went to the Flag Day parade in our town and had a complete blast. It ended at 7pm so we had a pretty dicey bedtime... which included a time out and even some "yummy stuff" (aka children's advil... I gave him like 1/10th of a dose because he was screaming for it). Oh, and a pee on the potty! And crying after putting down... oh, the highs and lows.
I'm EXHAUSTED and my back has been killing me all day long... but I'm here and ready to post-a-thon it up!!!

Hi ladies! On bed rest in hospital at 32w5d but thought I'd pop in and say hi! Hi!! Probably won't post much because typing while laying back in bed is awkward and I've done my fair share of sitting up today, so I need to take it easy. I'll be reading though

@boiledpnut: according to wikipedia, Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice (not to be confused with gluten) pounded into paste and molded into shape. . It's a little chewy like a tapioca ball and about the size of a mini marshmallow.

@blushink: I'll admit, I was probably eating breakfast a little late even for here (it was 11am :D) I'm enjoying the luxury of breakfast times before LO arrives

@mrs. wagon: hahaha
@blushink: OMG I have THE worse mommy brain. I totally didn't have pregnancy brain AT ALL. And ever since having my son I am soooo freakin' forgetful.
Story time:
The other day I had planned to make a specific meal, but my husband had thrown out the mushrooms. So DS and I made a quick trip to the store just for mushrooms, but I picked up a naked smoothie and kefir as well since I needed extra protein/antibiotics as well. Get home, put DS in the livingroom and unpack the groceries. I start to make dinner and can't find the mushrooms. where the heck did they go?! I looked all over the kitchen, the car, the garage etc. Couldn't find them anywhere.
I was about to start making something else when I found them under the chair in the living room. Whhattttt?! I have NO idea how they got there.

@Coco Bee: I totally did the same kind of thing the other week, except it was an onion. And I didn't find it til a few days later... in the freezer of course. where else does one put an onion when they're unpacking groceries? O_O
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Penny Lane: hahaha soo freakin funny. I accidentally did that with my kale while I was pregnant. It was my only pregnancy brain moment. I made my green smoothie and instead of putting it back in the fridge, it was the freezer. oops.

@Coco Bee: lol.. the good cop, bad cop and ... uhh... crap, what was the other one?? oh yea-- did your older children visit you in the hospital when you had another baby!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@mrs. wagon: I only have one so it's not applicable to me. And our LO is too little for the other one, although I totally know DH will be the one who let's LO get away with everything!!
