@autumn865: do it! I really love Insanity. Shaun T is a great motivator. It's hard but afterwards I feel so good! When I'm lacking motivation I google pictures or YouTube videos of insanity before and afters to help get me pumped up again.

@autumn865: LO is my third and last child. I hope that now I will be able to make healthy changes that I can maintain and have my girls grow up seeing a healthy mama. No more "I will be gaining pregnancy weight so why bother: " that I use to tell myself.

@LemonLong: I really like Insanity too. Have you tried the Asylum-so good!

@PrincessBaby: you look great! & thank you starting this thread:) I reeeeeeeally need the motivation so I hope this thread thrives.

    Height: 5'3.5" (seriously I am not 5'3" nor am I 5'4"...hate it!)
PP weight loss plan start: 129 (which is my pp weight actually)
Goal Weight: 120 (Because I wasn't exactly where I wanted to be PP and 120 is where I am my best)
LBs lost so far: I gained 30 during pregnancy but am back down to my PP weight of 129...so 30lbs lost.
What are you doing for weight loss: Paleo (only started 6 days ago) and 30 ds (only did it 3x inconsistently)

I still have MAJOR thunder thigh and a bit of flab on my tummy so I am going to focus on the weight loss and muscle strength simultaneously.

    photo 2 (2)

    photo 3 (2)

These are at exactly 13w5d PP, the day I started the Paleo diet. Strict Paleo has been going so well, except today I kind of fell off the wagon

@Mrs.B: aww thanks, girl:) Don't be...none of my old jeans zip so none of it really matters & with running and doing 30DS you will be back in no time.
@MRSJYW: thank you! That means a lot coming from you miss hot preggo; I bet you look like a hot mama now too (even if you claim otherwise!)

I was an infomercial for the Brazilian Butt-Lift program... has anyone tried it? I decided, I am going to "treat" myself to the set of DVDs when I get to my goal weight. I would KILL for a nice ass & a flat tummy;) Kiiiiillllll!

@PrincessBaby: you'll be all on your own if I don't see results soon haha...I'm not going to be posting pics of the same ole' thang every week;) Cooooome ooonn, results!

  12. PrincessBaby

    cantaloupe / 6610 posts

@TurtleDoves: Me either, dude! I'm giving it one month and if I'm not impressed with the results, I may change direction bc paleo really is a lot of work/planning:). I do feel great though- once the carb and sugar cravings subsided after the first week (I would have beat someone over the head for a cupcake), I noticed that I had a lot more energy!

@PrincessBaby: Good for you! I hope to make it that far. I want M&Ms...I thought about going into DH's desk and finding his little mug of M&Ms but then I managed to talk my fatass out of that one. +1 for me =D

@Mrs.B: lucky! I must confess: I never made it to level 3. I was always too timid to go beyond 2. I was at 2 for months at some point in my life..ekk.

Weighed myself today and I was 159.9! It's been a long time since I've been in the 150s.

Oh I"M so going to join this thread once I'm all healed up! I'm on the post-wisdom tooth removal diet, I've lost 8lbs in 2 days LOL...not quite the way I'm supposed to do it I was running/doing the 30DS every day until I had this done and I totally saw a difference so I can't wait to get back into it! I've got a month and a friggin half until we go to the Bahamas...it's crunch time!

  17. rachiecakes

    coconut / 8279 posts

@babyjmama: how was the tooth removal? did you get them all out? at my last visit my dentist said I need to see the oral surgeon and get mine out. I haven't called yet! at least I might have some weight loss to look forward to? haha

  18. doodlepoodle

    grapefruit / 4136 posts

@rachiecakes: Yeah, all 4 came out. My top two were impacted and the bottom 2 were close enough to just do it. I won't lie, hun. It hurts. Having a LO adds a new level of discomfort when they punch your jaw. I've been super lucky though and my mom has been over to take care of J when DH is gone during the day. If/when you have yours done make sure you have help for a week. You'll sleep. A lot.

@babyjmama: I had mine out when my second DD was a few months old and it was rough. Between breast feeding and being on liquids it was rough. Hope you get better quick!

I world love to get a size 26 over my thighs! I just told myself no more sugar, and I'm working out, so hopefully I start to lose more! Soo hard.

@babyjmama: The lazy ass in me is jealous that you're losing weight w/o exercise on the Wisdom Tooth Diet. Deep down, I would take oral surgery over Jillian Michaels. Hands down. But I do hope you feel better AND get some weight loss out of it!

@mrskc: That's awesome!!!! I weigh in tomorrow and I'm nervous!

@PrincessBaby: hahahahahahaha don't worry, the lazyass in me is ecstatic that I'm below the 140 mark even though I'm sure a lot of it is water weight. I'm just going to have to be extra careful when I can eat again to make good.choices.

  25. PrincessBaby

    cantaloupe / 6610 posts

@Mrs.B: That is pretty awesome that you're doing it every day! I just have days where LO doesn't have a nap longer than 15-20 mins, and until my DH gets home on the 31st, it will be touch and go! I have been doing it about 4x a week....I admire you for making time every single day!

  26. doodlepoodle

    @TurtleDoves: thanks!
@mrsmenow: omg...I can't even fathom doing this AND BF'ing. I've been done w/that for a few months. I'd probably have had to postpone. You're a strong lady!!!

I had my official weigh in at WW today I am down 5.2lbs. I am 17 lbs. from my initial goal. I will start running again when I get to my initial goal.

@babyjmama: A few months after I had my wisdom teeth out my oldest DD accidentally hit me in the mouth with a golf club so
I was back to liquids only for 2 more weeks. It was a painful way to lose the weight:/

  29. rachiecakes

    coconut / 8279 posts

@autumn865: I'm totally motivated to look good in a bathing suit on the beach! I want to be THAT mom, ya know?

I'm back on my green smoothie today!
I made a batch yesterday and packed my food for work today (big step for me! especially a Monday when all the salespeople are in and we usually go to lunch together).
I've got a smoothie, hardboiled egg and lowfat string cheese - starting off the week right!

Everyone that is doing 30 day shread what size weights are you using?

I'm using 3lb weights but I'm thinking about moving up to 5lb weights.

  31. rachiecakes

    coconut / 8279 posts

@Mrs.B: I only have 3lbs (for the Tracy Anderson DVD I have) and 8lbs.
8lbs would kill me, so 3lbs it is!

  32. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Mrs.B: I use 5 lbs or 8 lbs depending on the exercise...

I'm officially to week 3 of the shred!! I'm also going to try and add in Zumba 2 times a week. this of course means DH needs to be home by 7:30 pm. two times a week, so not sure it will happen.

Day 10 of the shred and I'm down 8.4lbs since starting it and 30.4lbs from my pregnancy weight. I saw the 170's on the scale for the first time in a long time.

    @Mrs.B: That is awesome!!!

    @mrsjyw: Congrats!!!!

Tomorrow my husband comes home from work, he's been gone since Jan 6. He bought me a new pair of skinny True Religion jeans that I asked for from him for Christmas- in my pre-preg size as an incentive. I am still not at my goal weight (135), but I'm only a few lbs away from my pre-preg weight (138)...When DH left I was 148, and I weighed 141 at my weigh-in on Sunday. And I tried the new jeans on yesterday and they are snug but they fit and they looked pretty decent! It felt good to put something on other than yoga pants or tights- REAL CLOTHES! Anyway, I am excited to surprise him tomorrow when I show up at the airport wearing the jeans:)

We are having a SuperBowl party at our house and we're having a small crowd over. Most of them have only seen me in the aforementioned yoga pants and looking super frumpy, so I bought a new Three Dots top (to disguise that my belly's not perfect yet), and new sandals to go with my new jeans. I also treated myself to a "name necklace" from an etsy seller with my daughter's name on it, and I'm looking forward to feeling cute but not looking like I tried too hard! Here's the the stock photos of my getup (sorry that I'm so excited about wearing real clothes, but I AM!):

@kml636: Thank you! This will be my absolute first non-Lululemon outfit since I gave birth!

I have a 30DS question... We use our PS3 as a DVD player...It won't let me ffwd through the part at the beginning where Jillian goes on and on about how the levels work and how awesome and tough she is. Can anyone else ffwd through this? It's such a waste of time and when I'm racing an 8 wk old to see if I can finish before she wakes up, it really makes me want to smack Jillian for forcing people to listen to that every single time! If there's a way to ffwd over her annoying *ss let me know!
