@PrincessBaby: Even on my DVD player I cannot fast forward the beginning. I don't think it canbe skipped which is super annoying.

Yay for cute clothes! Love the outfit!

Hey guys! Still at the same weight. BuT i feel better after only doing the shred 5 times! It has been sooooo long since I worked out (I was on bed rest during my pregnancy and have only walked since LO was born--how lazy!)

I made this little comparison to give me incentive to really try hard. I want to work on chiseling my waist and getting rid of the extra flab on my hips.

Hope no one is offended by the hoochie pics.

(Before baby and after baby. What a difference!)

@PrincessBaby: love the outfit! totally forgot about the Super Bowl, probably because I'm from New England and bitter, lol
And I also find it infuriating that I have to listen to Jillian, I usually get myself a water and put my hair up during this time, ugh

    @Rainbow Sprinkles: Hot mama!

I am on week 3 of the shred and when Jillian says I should be cursing at her, she's right! But she's motivating. I've had some work drama so I didn't go to zumba last night, but I'm aiming for thursday.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Um, you are a Hottie Tottie!!!!

Just wanted to check in:). I am pretty sure I'm back at my pre-preg weight...I only weigh on Sundays (it makes me so nervous!), but as of last Sun I was only a few lbs away and I can tell I've lost a little more.... But I still wanted to lose an additional 5lbs or so on top of pre-preg weight. But my pre-preg size jeans fit, and my DH was BLOWN AWAY when he saw me (he was gone 3.5 wks offshore for work)...

I had bought a few new tops bc my boobs are bigger so none of my old tees or casual tops fit. The boobs pull the shirts up and make them too short! So my wardrobe is still pretty limited, and today we are going SHOPPING to look for some more cute tops! I haven't bought non-maternity clothes in about a year (got BFP in March) so I'm looking forward to getting new REAL clothes!!!!

And now that I'm not solo parenting, DH can watch the baby to ensure I get my workout in each day! AND a bath afterwards---WHAAAATTTT???? I forgot what it was like, I usually have to pick one or the other, and definitely had days where neither were an option thanks to growth spurts and nap strikes!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

If anyone has a suggestion for another Jillian DVD, let me know! I am getting sick of 30DS! Especially her stupid intro speech Every. Single. Time.

@PrincessBaby: go you!!! That's awesome! I have te same issue with shirts being too short, and a bunch of my old stuff is just too tight across the chest. Have fun shopping!

@PrincessBaby: Yay! Have fun shopping. When I lost weight before getting knocked up lol I used six week to six pack and that was a good one. It is also Jillian Micheals.

At WW weigh in this morning I was down 3.4lbs from last week! Bringing my total to 8.6lbs. lost since starting the shred. I am on day 13 today and day 3 of level 2. OMG level 2 is SO much harder then level 1 but I feel super accomplished when I'm done.

Anyone else worried about your weight loss while BFing? It is recommended to loose l pound a week and I am loosing way more then that. My supply has not been affected though and I am still pumping 5-6 ounces for donation every morning.

@PrincessBaby: love the outfit you posted! And the Harper necklace is sooo cute! Do you mind sharing the Etsy seller you bought it from? And yay for fitting into those pants. Have fun shopping! I bet you're pretty excited to have your DH home.

    @Rainbow Sprinkles: you look HOT!

@mrsjyw: your date on v day sounds awesome! And I'm in the high 150s too! It's so awesome to see the numbers on the scale go down.

Sounds like everyone is doing great. I'm still sticking to WW and on my weigh in on tue, I was 157.7. About 10 lbs away from pre-TTC weight and I set a new goal of 150. Woohoo! Since I'm nursing I get more points than DH!

I would love to start working out. I'm so lazy tho! When do you girls find the time? And how do you motivate yourself? How do you even remember. Sometimes I go to bed and then I remember about working out.

@mrskc: I work out when A is sleeping. Usually around 9pm or so. Honestly is sucks but it's the only time I have.

I had my 6 week check yesterday and got the all clear. When I weighed in I was 10lbs less than my pre-pregnancy weight (which also happened to be the heaviest I had ever been).

So excited to get moving. It is so cold here I am sticking to a mix of jillian videos, Insanity, and these workouts. I love her quick wokouts and she isn't as annoying as Jillian.

@Mrs.B: @Mrs.B: I was worried and the WW thing and nursing. I was losing more than a pound a week for the last four weeks. I didn't notice any supply issues either. They did up my daily points this week. Maybe to slow my weight loss? And that'd probably be the only time I could workout at as well.

@mrskc: I wore the necklace today and got so many compliments on it while we were at the mall....Here is the item/seller:
    https://www.etsy.com/transaction/113208863
It's my absolute favorite thing right now;)

Today DH took me shopping and we had the best time. He wore H in the (hot pink) Bjorn and she slept the whole time ( like she knew Mommy needed retail therapy and so decided to be super good lol) and I got a lot of cute stuff! It will keep me motivated! We went to lunch at a seafood place and there was so much temptation (calamari!) but I thought about how awful I felt before losing weight and how good it feels to wear cute stuff again and I was able to stay strong! Just ordered salmon grilled clean w/s&p only, and steamed veggies with nothing on them other than steam! I am proud of myself after every small victory like that, but a shopping trip really reinforces it! It was nice to feel like a princess after feeling like a hag for so long!

Besides, if I'm going to blow my diet, it's going to be on the oooiest, goooiest, chocolate cupcake with kcream cheese icing or something gluttonous;)

@mrsmenow: That is AWESOME. No other way to describe it!

  23. PrincessBaby

Oh and my supply has been fine (I was nervous too) with going paleo, losing weight, and also working out....KNOCK ON WOOD! Every time H starts stalling, and also when she's popped off, I squeeze to make sure something's there, and I pretty much always squirt milk in her face.

I also started wearing "real" bras a couple of days ago, bc I'm tired of the Grandma nursing bras so I bought some new sexy ones from VS, and even though they're not tight, they are push-up and I kind of worried that might affect supply but it has not.

@PrincessBaby: do you just pull down the cups when you have to nurse? Or do you only wear them if you know you're going to be away from H/have a bottle ready? I miss my real bras!

  26. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Yes, I got a new job! I think I may ask one of my neighbors if she wants to go to zumba with me. We have a gym about a block from our house.

I am on my last day of Ripped in 30, week 3. I start week 4 tomorrow.

@PrincessBaby: I just started wearing real bras the other day. It feels great. I need to go to Nordstroms for a bra fitting because my old bras don't fit, sigh...

  27. mrsjyw

    GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts

I've been wearing real bras! hasn't affected supply or any bf issues... just pull it down for nursing!

I haven't weighed in yet this wk, but I think I'm in mid 150s now. Slowly, but surely getting there!

  28. MsLipGloss

    GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts

@Hilsy85 @LittleK @MrsJYW: I have been wearing real bras for some time now . . . I just fold the cups down or pull the bra up for nursing. Before I starting wearing real bras again I thought I had only gone up 1 cup size, but that is not the case! I have, in fact, gone up 2 cup sizes (and one band size, although I think that will go back down when I lose the rest of the weight).

  29. hilsy85

    squash / 13764 posts

@MsLipGloss: @mrsjyw: I feel like I would completely ruin my bras (stretch them out) if I did that...I am curious to know what my "real bra" size would be (I guess probably the same as my nursing bra size?) in which case I'd have to get new real bras...I'll probably just wait til I wean LO, but man do I miss underwire and shaped cups!

I think I am going to bite the bullet and buy a new pair of nice jeans in my current size (probably one size up from pre preg--boo!). Any suggestions for brands? I know there was a thread about non mom mom jeans...need to find that!

  30. MsLipGloss

    GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts

@Hilsy85: When I pull my bra up, I undo the clasp in the back first. I have folded the cups down a few times on my less expensive lightly lined bras.

Ahhhh jeans . . . pp, I was a diehard Paige (Premium Denim) fan. I know that AGs come highly recommended (I am definitely going to try those when I am closer to my pp weight!), and I think @PrincessBaby is a big fan of True Religion jeans.

ETA: Now that I think about it, why didn't I get a few bras that have front closures?! That way I could get some shape and support *and* still have access for BF. Doh!

I started my regimen a week late. But, Saturday went to the gym. Sunday, shred. Monday, shred. Tonight, shred (can do it after work and T goes to bed since my husband is working late). Then, I just need to fit in a lunch workout at work one day this week and I will have worked out 5 days!! I don't care what I weigh and I do fit in to all of my old clothes. I just want to start feeling good about myself again.

  32. MsLipGloss

    GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts

@WinnieBee: All that matters is that you started! Sounds like you are off to a great start, too! I am currently squeezing in shorter workouts at lunch because LO does not sleep nearly long enough at night for late workouts (I have a baby nurse coming in tonight for the next several nights to hopefully get things sorted out). And I agree . . . while I have a *goal weight* in mind, what matters more to me is how I feel and how my clothes fit.

  33. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

@MsLipGloss: I figured the hardest part would be starting and going for more than 1 day. My brother's wedding is in 2 months and so that's my goal. Night nurse sounds like an excellent plan - hope it helps!

  34. MsLipGloss

    GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts

@WinnieBee: I also have a 2 month deadline . . . DH just made partner, and in April, we have to do a whole bunch of social/formal social firm stuff, and I need to look my best! For me, it has been easier to *just do it* with the April date looming. And you're right - the first few days (especially the first day!) were the hardest. It's not quite as difficult to sacrifice a lunch hour and lace up my shoes this week as it was last week.

I hope the night nurse helps, too. I am terrified about hearing LO cry though . . . but I know I can't keep this up forever.

@winniebee: Yea!!! Getting started is the hardest part!

  36. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@hilsy85: I bought a pair of AG jeans and I love them! They have nice stretch and the rise isn't too low. I'm petite and they are one of the few jeans that actually fit a petite person, not that your petite, but I'm super picky and I love them. I don't want my 7 for all mankind jeans to know this, but I think I like the AG more.... aghhh I'm cheating on my 7s...

  37. MsLipGloss

    GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts

@LittleK: lol! I too would feel guilty about abandoning my Paiges if I find out I prefer AGs.

  38. hilsy85

    @littlek: @MsLipGloss: I will try AG! Thanks!

  39. PrincessBaby

    cantaloupe / 6610 posts

@MsLipGloss: Woohoo! I'm so glad you like them!

@hilsy85: Yes I pull down the cups, or sometimes just push it up so boob comes out the bottom.

I am a cup size bigger than prepreg, so I bought new pushup real bras in my current size. I normally wear Very Sexy bras from VS but didnt want to spend $50 on bras when I don't know how long they'll be this size. I found a nice alternative, the VS Pink pushup bra...They're 2 for $42 in the store...So they're a great price and I like them a lot!

As far as jeans, my favorite mommy blogger, MODG, just did a post on best jeans for PP and the AG jeans were her faves. I don't know if I'm supposed to link or not, but you can google MODG and her blog will pull right up. She is hilarious and had a really good post on jeans.

    AFM, I lurve True Religions!

@MsLipGloss: That's great news about your husband - congrats!

@littlek: I need a new pair of jeans. I haven't found the time to go shopping without LO lately though. I'm pettite too maybe will try AG....but I do love Citizens.
