Praying for them, that's so hard.

Did they see the heartbeats at the first sonogram? That is so, so sad They will be in my thoughts!

Were you close at all with the wife? I had this happen to me earlier in this pregnancy - a friend was a few weeks different from me and she lost the baby. I was initially afraid to reach out but I did, and I think it was worth it. While awkward at first, we did chat and text about it a fair amount, and she told me she appreciated it. They were at a stage where not many people knew - had I not also been pregnant I don't think I would have known. But, if you're comfortable, I would encourage you to reach out to her. I will add that I haven't ever had a miscarriage and don't mean to speak for how all women would feel in this situation, this was just my experience with my friend. Prayers to your friends as well - just a terrible situation.

That's so sad. Prayers to them. I was due close to another coworker. I was a few weeks ahead of her. She reached out to me and it helped me. She never went through a loss, but she just was there if I needed to talk about anything. I appreciated it and I didn't always accept that offer from everyone who wanted to do that.
