Do you remember the time frame between getting the strength to pull up to all fours and actually taking off and crawling? I don't remember this for LO 1 but LO 2 just did this for the first time last night before she flopped on her belly.

It was around 3 weeks from getting up and rocking on all fours to actually crawling (she never army crawled).

It took about a month here, but L really never army crawled or did tentative crawling - he spent forever just lifting himself up on all fours and rocking back and forth and then after about a month he just took off!

R started doing planks 3 weeks before army crawling, and it was another 2-3 weeks before she regular crawled.

Towards the end of her 5th month she pulled to standing. At 7 months + 1 week she crawled backwards. At almost 8 months she did baby pushups, then rocking on all fours a day later. About two weeks later she crawled forward.
She never army crawled.
haha I happened to write down physical milestones on Google Drive.

right about a month. she would rock on all fours for like 10 minutes and not go anywhere! then one morning she figured the arms out a little and by that afternoon she was a speed demon crawling across the floor haha.

He rocked on hands and knees for about a month and scooted around on his belly before suddenly sitting up and crawling one day!

I think 1-2 months. It was up on all fours, then pushing backwards for a long time before actually crawling.
